Glad to see your post Eye. I read the comments at the ADN website and, well, I guess it got me worried. I don't know anything about Miller or Murki except what I can gather from FR and the "media" (and that has to be heavily filtered!!).

From the comments to me I've read, I take it that the ADN is the Alaska equivilant of the NYT, is that correct? I like Palin, thought I liked Miller, and did not like Murki (for what she did). How Alaskans could go ahead and elect Murki with all the stuff about her going around, I don't know. I need to become better informed (I try, I really do!).

The ADN is worse than anything I have seen in as such as attacking Sarah Palin. All it has done since even before the elections was to stir up a smear campaign against Joe Miller.

Lisa spent almost 2 million dollars to ADN from what I have heard in the hopes that people would be lead to believe that “outside interests” such as the Tea Party were evil for Alaska.

And Alaska is heavily unionized, we have a smaller job market of overpaid employees with a very restictive hiring policy, you have to be either native, have a connection like a relative or be of some unique position to work in the system.

It sucks if you first move to Alaska, nobody will hire you for a good wage for at least a year or two unless you are already in a union from the lower 48.

I know that very well just after I moved here back in 1992, I had to sacrifice some very expensive Snapon tools just to buy food and to move to where cheap work was available in Anchorage.

There is very much a class division here, the haves and the have less.

Andrea did it to herself. That happens when you make smarmy remarks instead of defending your POV. Life’s like that.

Palin’s attempt did Not exactly backfire, it was Miller who blew it by underestimating murky, and her devious machinations. Also, I don’t think she will pose sufficient threat to derail the POTUS bid but she is going to be a pest throughout the campaign.

I refuse to buy all this garbage I read on here about fixed elections, crooked ballots, etc

Good, the frauds need people like you. And the video of the gov't contractor in a gov't building speaking to voters the day before election day and praising lisa and how good she is for Alaska is not to be believed and is really garbage in your opinion.

Nevertheless, the primary voters will cast the verdict, if Palin chooses to run.
