Based on the subtitle, it looks like they’re not saying Obama is God, but that people expect the president to be god-like and solve all problems. So they’re probably making excuses for Obama. But who but the press built up these god-like expectations of Obama?

The subtitle seems to indicate they know he’s incapable of doing what the left expects, so they are going to go the “it’s too much for one person route”.

Where to start?! They won't admit to the fraud or the abject evil and incompetence, because they need to keep worshiping. So they choose to lower the bar for their god-man messiah. It's some sort of affirmative-action-as-you-go program.
