Ah, now the TSO unions are complaining mightily to TSA/DHS HQs...this might be interesting to watch.

they know that any resulting trails for assaulting TSA agents are going to be the subjects of jury nullification

Our concern is that the public not confuse the people implementing the policies with the people who developed the policies, said Sharon Pinnock, the union's director of membership and organization. Does the "we were only following orders" excuse still work?

The TSA agents deserve what they get. If they don’t like it, they can quit.

Since it's darned hard to get at the people who developed the policies, folks who want to hurt someone are going to attack the field agents.
This isn't, after all, a war where we all know it's the ENEMY COUNTRY at fault, not its individual soldiers who we simply hold as POWs.
The situation is far more personal than that. I'd imagine union officers, should these guys vote for union representation, will be held as accountable by angry members of the public at large.
Must be hell to be a 21st century VOPO.

The TSA agents deserve what they get. If they dont like it, they can quit. Their previous jobs at Jack-In-The-Box have already been filled.

The war is about to start.
Obama will soon authorize the TSA feeler-uppers to carry arms. Then they become part of his civilian army ala the Brownshirts in Hitlers Germany. He promised.

Let's clarify that: p/i"Our concern is that the public might punch the people feeling up their privates instead of punching the people who developed the policy of feeling up their privates and hiring other people to do it, and making it a fine of $11,000 to refuse to let them."
I don't think people are confused at all. Taking a job feeling up people's privates is a bad idea, even if your boss says it's okay. Because it's NOT OKAY.
