More than a quarter of a million classified cables sent from U.S. embassies around the world to Washington have been leaked on the Internet. Despite warnings from the U.S. government that the leaks could put lives at risk, the website WikiLeaks published the files in conjunction with several major international newspapers.

That is how it played at the time, quite sickeningly. The Hondurans handled their lefty President as their Constitution instructed and the State Department and Obambi stuck their nose in to prevent that. It was one of the first times I wretched in response to our new anti-freedom foreign policy.

I guess Obama got his payback by releasing derogatory remarks about Sarkosy in the “leaked” cables.
The little French man will be in a snit over this.
Here, for the first time in US HISTORY, we might actually be getting the ACTUAL TRUTH, and we want the people who are GIVING US THE TRUTH to be jailed. This seems odd.

We live in a very corrupt society not to mention the world. This is not going to change much and in fact likely will get worse. It is moreso voting for the lessor of the evils or choosing among. It really is beyond “fixing”. Rather we can try to make inroads and get some things changed...but exposing these leaks was no more than Bo spinning the already political and world stage harder....it would not have been exposed without bigger players in his park.
There is something screwy with these leaks.
Could be:
1. Obam just destroying America more.
2. A war between the CIA and State Dept or a war between the Defense intel against the CIA or State Dept. Something is going on.
The Saudis being exposed that they want the war with Iran and the Saudis exposed as the funders of Al Qeada.

Guess what, lots of folks within "the people" are NOT going to use such knowledge to HELP America and her people.
The people who SHOULD be allowed to know sensitive information about our military and our government are those who are trustworthy, patriotic -- the "I love America" kind, not the "How DARE you question my patriotism!" kind -- AND have a need to know.
There are plenty of good, honorable reasons for a responsible government to keep some secrets from most of its people.
Hmm...not sure these leaks are all that bad. Going to withhold judgment for awhile. I’m so mistrustful of our government that this tiny amount of light seems at first glance to be positive.
Bloomberg as well as Fox, ABC/Disney, TW/CNN, Viacom/CBS, et al want access to Islamic countries. They will pander to islam because the market 1.7 billion people with trillions of dollars. ALL of TV and ALL of Hollywood are evil. People here yell at me because they think TV is mom and apple pie.
It is not - we have endless “dumb white man” commercials. I canceled TV a year ago and will never go back. They support Obama 100%.
I agree with you. I am not sure who is trying to set up whom. It sure looks like Obama may be going after Hillary. Obama is a Saudi puppet and the Saudis look bad here (because they are bad).

These documents aren't everything. They have been screened and redacted by the U.S. Government.

Seems to me it’s more like an intelligence briefing for the public, without the PC crap.
Name one thing that has been revealed, so far, that our enemies don’t already know.
