So you’re using someone else’s words to say that anyone who disagrees with you must keep quiet? That’s silly.

emotion emotion emotion

I’ve been disagreeing with people on this forum for going on ten years. I’ve been insulted, shouted down by adult children, and been vindicated repeatedly. I try to keep the discussion intellectual—I never get emotional about posting anonymously to an internet forum. Why do you?

Oh, and I am a fairly liberal socially, save for my pro-life stance (which is uncompromising). Not everone here on FR is a gay-hating bible-pounder.

Right. I look at the person the liberals vilify the most, and that is the person I will begin my search with.

The ones they don’t fear at all are the ones they will slather with praise.

I would vote against it just because Romney would be in Washington!

Hey, you know what? It’s a strategy and a protest.

If Sarah hadn’t joined the race Barry would have won in landslide numbers.

The RNC, GOP and many other organizations are making choices about who they will run and at the same time calling or sending letters begging for our participation as “partners”.

The fact of the matter is they are a one sided country club operating as a ruse when they have zero interest in our opinion or vote.

So if the country is going to hell in a handbasket I say “Slap the go pedal to the carpet” and lets be done with it sooner rather than later.

Indeed.

The problem with his “her speeches are scripted” is this:

Romney couldn’t make a case for his own policy without reading his own script.

This is the reason why Romney has committed so many “unforgivable” flip-flops.

The man is just a natural flip-flopper even without a threat or pressure.

People think that the LSM will be kind to Romney.

Who are they fooling? Definitely not me.

BEWARE OF WHAT DNC HAS FOUND FROM ROMNEY’S FOIA files.

Have you never before read Jim’s statement? It seems to me that it disputes your assumption.

>>>>>Romney OR Palin equal four more years of the Black Messiah.

No doubt Obama would beat the crap out of Willard. If Palin runs and gets the nomination, she has a good chance of winning. It all comes down to Independent voters.

On Nov 2 Indy voters didn't like the direction Obama was taking the country, so they ran from the Dems and Obama in a mass exodus handing the GOP an opportunity to redeem their rotten governing during the Bush era. If the economy remains flat and unemployment stays above 8%, Obama's chances for reelection are severely undercut. And should Obama fight every attempt by the Republican House to keep current tax rates in place, reduce spending and repeal ObamaCare, the Indies will not vote for him in 2012.

I wouldn't rule Palin out.

I hate my laptop. It’s been doing wacky things.

I come to FR to check on my ping lists and any interesting conversations going on.

It bothers emotional people when someone who disagrees with them DARES step into their imaginary world and offers a contrary opinion. OMG!

No, I don’t get paid, though I think there were shills for the RNC here during the second W election campaign. they drove a lot of good people away. Made me sad.

People will disagree with you, and they have a right to speak on an OPEN FORUM. I follow the rules, respect everyone’s opinions (while poking a little fun), and try to stir up the groupthink.

I’ve been called the Black Knight of Fr. Every group need one, otherwise it’s just a circle of backpatting and “you’re right...no, YOU’RE right...you’re awesome!” You get the idea.

Get used to the idea that its’ a big world out here.

Oh, and I’ve been married to a dusky Cuban for over 20 years. Odd behavior for a racist?misogynist.

the “Black Messiah” refers to his supporters leaning on his color as the truly sole reason they back him up.

I don’t support Palin because of reasons previously stated. her gender has nothing to do with it. (I was a big supporter of Maggie Thatcher back in the day. All us Reaganites were.)

LOL, no wonder you are against the conservative candidate.

I wonder if you are aware that you joined a pro-God, anti-homosexual agenda, forum?

I was hoping for more emotion from you. Your bars are hard to rattle at times

“emotion” is today’s secret word!

/oh, and would “emotion” be a meme or a theme for the day? I get the two mixed up

Never said I was anti-God (whatever that is supposed to mean—sounds like a kook phrase). My wife is Catholic and I was raised a Southern Baptist. I’m definately NOT a fundamentalist, nor are the Jews on this forum, or others.

I never said I was pro-gay. I don’t think they should be suppressed, but neither should they be allowed access to children in any way, as teachers or adoptive parents.

Satisfied? Am I prejudiced enough?

Strong jaw? That limp-wristed fop? Sorry, Willard can stay out East. We don’t need or want his brand of RINO to spread Nationwide.

It bothers emotional people when someone who disagrees with them DARES step into their imaginary world and offers a contrary opinion. OMG!

Your assessment of others' motives is consistently wrong. Your psychological projection is apparent. I am not the only one in this COMMUNITY that is trying, less and less politely, to point out that you are not abiding by the rules of the forum as laid out on the home page in the words of Jim Robinson, the owner of this website.

Maybe, since you've been here a long time, you've forgotten. But the rules were posted on this thread so I hope you read them again to refresh your memory.

If for some reason you don't think this applies to you then you have clearly identified the problem.

Personally I have a problem with both your viewpoints and your behavior but this isn't my forum, it's Jim Robinson's. So we'll just let him decide. He respects longevity...

Palin shot herself in the foot forever when she quit her office in Alaska for spurious reasons.

Only two types of people repeat this leftist lie. Sarah's political opponents and brain dead sheep who get their news from Comedy Central. That you choose to do so does not reflect very well on your character, as it is an obvious lie to anyone who knows the truth.

Paid Obama operatives and left wing bloggers were harassing her with dozens of phony ethics lawsuits, sometimes filling them using cartoon character names, using Alinsky tactics that were bankrupting her family and stifling her administration. She had personal legal bills over $500,000 with no end in sight. These bogus lawsuits were also costing the state of Alaska, and the governors work was not getting accomplished.

She was literally spending ALL her time defending these frivolous suits, and they had effectively hamstrung her administration. These radical tactics were working because Alaska has a unique ethics law that does not protect elected officials from personal legal bills...so the game was on.

Having been through three legislative sessions and having implemented most of her agenda (which was very successful) and knowing she had a responsible Lt. Governor who shared her vision of Alaska, she thwarted their efforts by taking herself out of the equation. She recognized she had become a lighting rod to her political opponents and nothing more could be accomplished in her lame duck year if she were at the helm.

That single selfless act stopped all the nonsense and Alaska has done well under the new governor, as he has been able to continue Sarah Palin's agenda without the distractions of bogus lawsuits.

Some of her opponents say she did this for purely selfish reasons, but that begs credulity. By resigning she risked that she could have ruined any potential future political ambitions. (Her political enemies like you certainly push this narrative) There were no guarantees her book would sell as it did. As vilified as she had been it is entirely possible she could have fallen flat with her endeavors since then...resigning was a real risk, but she saw it as the right and principled thing to do for her state.

I think this is what infuriates her political adversaries the most. For someone so excoriated as 'dumb' she seems to out smart them at every turn.

To say she 'quit' implies she was just lazy or didn't care. That is obviously not true. Her involvement with the Tea Party was instrumental in the GOP gaining as many seats as they did in the last election. She alone among Republican 's aspiring to be president deserves credit for November's record breaking elections.
