Bradley Manning may have leaked classified info out of anger at US military’s gay policy.

New York Times have exposed Manning as someone who could be a bitter homosexual man. After all, the article detailed his high-school years where he was made fun of for, in part, being gay. Then, after he joined the US military, he found the atmosphere in the military not to be accepting of his homosexual lifestyle and his liberal opinions, among other things. Consequently, he confided to supposed confidants like the notorious hacker, Adrian Lamo, that he was feeling isolated.

Manning—who is openly homosexual, by the way—was also known to have marched in a gay (homosexual) pride march/parade. If you search the Internet for pictures of him, you can even see ones of him holding up signs demanding "equality" on "the battlefield," battlefield being a likely reference to the US military.

That (above) is the other little pencil neck creep enlisted in our military (Bradley Manning on a gay pride march, Bradley Manning, the Wikileaks suspect, grew up in Wales after his parents split up) who leaked to the little pencil neck bastard of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange (below).

I don’t even think the problem will be so much sexual harrassment as much as it will be the gays becoming their own group by self segregation and then the relationships will become out of hand. That in and of itself would lead to trouble. Could you imagine 2 gays in the same platoon going through a bad break up? How about promiscuous sex within a company? Most of those serving are in their 20’s.....they are horny and gays are the worst because they define themselves by a sex act!

"How is it even possible to advance to flag rank without having received one somewhere along the line? "

It has to be hard. He does wear the Vietnam Service medal, but that was a little before by day, so I'm not sure exactly why he doesn't also have the CAR, but he clearly doesn't.

There haven't been a lot of Navy CJS. I think only three or four. Most of those were naval aviators, with heavy combat experience from WWII. Crowe, who served under Reagan, wasn't an aviator, but he had heavy surface warfare experience, again during WWII. Mullen came in during the tail-end of Vietnam, and was never deployed to a ground unit, like a Seal or FO, or to a literal ship like John effing Kerry. Mullen is/was a pretty conventional surface warfare guy serving in a navy that hasn't had a large surface warfare battle in almost 65 years.

Wow! That is something else. I retire in June 2011 after 24 years in the Navy. I just can’t believe he is giving that type of ultimatum.

Bradley Manning, suspected source of Wikileaks documents, raged on his Facebook page

Bradley Manning, the prime suspect in the leaking of the Afghan war files, raged against his US Army employers and “society at large” on his Facebook page in the days before he allegedly downloaded thousands of secret memos, The Daily Telegraph has learnt.
The US Army intelligence analyst, who is half British and went to school in Wales, appeared to sink into depression after a relationship break-up, saying he didn’t “have anything left” and was “beyond frustrated”.

In an apparent swipe at the army, he also wrote: “Bradley Manning is not a piece of equipment,” and quoted a joke about “military intelligence” being an oxymoron.

Mr Manning, 22, who is currently awaiting court martial, is suspected of leaking more than 90,000 secret military documents to the Wikileaks website in a security breach which US officials claim has endangered the lives of serving soldiers and Afghan informers.

Anyone wanting 4 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan (and maybe a detour to the DMZ) in the next 8 years, welcome to apply for a military job!

Mullen will come to regret that statement. A lot of troops ARE going to walk as a result of this.

Long gone are the days when senior military leaders actually stood strongly for what was best for the Armed Forces.””””

An instant Brain-Drain of qualified & well trained personnel.

What a wonderful result we get for caving in to about 8% of the population which prefers to reside in Freaksville.

How many recruits with prison records will be necessary to fill the ranks???

Or are we only going to end up with local ‘security’??

They are doing this because currently they are trying to get rid of people in the military. They are downsizing and this will just help the process. Trust me, if the economy was great this would not be considered. They know that they have the military folks by the “balls” because if they get out, the economy is so bad that getting a job is very difficult so they believe people will stay and when the economy improves this will be yesterday’s news. These folks are not stupid and they know exactly what they are doing.

Agreed. It opens up a whole can of worms with soap operas galore. Like having women on board ships opened up a can of worms, as somebody mentioned. The Operation Petticoat kind of thing. You could say it would be different with gays because they wouldn’t get pregnant, but unit morale and cohesion is even more critical than whether a person is pregnant. And that’s what is at risk.

This is what the Admiral is obviously hoping our military will openly embrace!

Get p*ssed off by your ‘boyfriend’, leak classified documents to ‘show them’. Unhappy in the military, sabotage it!

******

Mr Manning, who is openly homosexual, began his gloomy postings on January 12, saying: “Bradley Manning didn’t want this fight. Too much to lose, too fast.”

Five days later he said he was “livid” after being “lectured by ex-boyfriend”, then later the same day said he was “not a piece of equipment” and was “beyond frustrated with people and society at large”.

His tagline on his personal page reads: “Take me for who I am, or face the consequences!”

“Some people are saying that Bradley was a trouble-maker but he was anything but. He was just an introverted kid who loved computers and was fired up politically.”

Scott Lewis, a former classmate, said: “He was a bit hot-headed. If there was something he didn’t agree with, he spoke up about it.”

Pictures on Mr Manning’s Facebook page include photos of him on school trips during his time in Wales and at a gay rights rally, where he is holding up a placard demanding equality on “the battlefield”.

face it- any group of horndogs (people who flaunt sexuality as a form of self identity) in a laregly teen and 20-something organization that is SUPPOSED to train people to work as a team to face deadly peril 24/7 - is BAD NEWS

Another thing, there is no doubt in my mind that either a brother or son is gay. He is way too passionate about this topic to not have it affect him in some way. Sorry to post three posts to you....lol.

It looks like Bradly Mannings leaking of classified documnets WORKED because he wanted to ‘change things’ in the military!

Thanks, ADMIRAL, you lunatic!

******

According to a post on RedCounty, the Family Research Council (FRC) has revealed that the now-infamous Wikileaker, U.S. Army Private Bradley Manning, is a homosexual activist. The FRC cites a story in the U.K. Telegraph which indicated that not only does Manning has an extensive history of campaigning for gay, lesbian, and transgendered causes, but may have even been considering a sex change when he leaked military secrets on the Internet via Wikileaks. Once again, a foreign media source reports what the gutless, co-opted, celebrity-obsessed American national media hasn’t the courage to touch.

According to the Telegraph, Manning engaged in gay rights activism before he joined the U.S. Army.

It has not been reported whether Manning actually engaged in gay rights political activism in violation of DADT after he joined the U.S. Army. However, he was known to be open about his homosexuality. Manning’s postings on Facebook were apparently a precursor to his release of information on Wikileaks. He began his postings on January 12th, 2010, saying: “Bradley Manning didn’t want this fight. Too much to lose, too fast.” At the beginning of May, when he was serving at a US military base near Baghdad, he changed his status to: “Bradley Manning is now left with the sinking feeling that he doesn’t have anything left.” Five days later he said he was livid after being lectured by ex-boyfriend, then later the same day said he was not a piece of equipment and was beyond frustrated with people and society at large. His tagline on his personal page reads: “Take me for who I am, or face the consequences!” A June 10th Washington Post story reveals Manning had earlier lost a stripe for striking a fellow soldier. Finally, Manning was arrested at the end of May on suspicion of leaking a video of a US helicopter attack, and quickly became the main suspect when the Afghan war documents were leaked earlier this week.

It appears that after his demotion, Bradley Manning felt he no longer had a future in the Army, and so he thought that by sharing classified information about his government’s foreign policy, he might “actually change something.”

does this mean the military will allow people to withdraw without penalty because of this new sex fetish endorsement policy?

Since when was the military “just a job”?

Mullen and Gates have to go. Their stunning lack of moral leadership and standards demands it.

as many or more troops will walk in the short run because of the management style of Mullens and others over this

Like it or LEAVE

Frankly I am astounded by the patriotism and dedication of the people who have stayed the past 2 years under the clueless arrogant inept obama administration - negotiating clandestinely with the taliban while ordering US troops to die fighting. Their sacrifice makes me very very very sad
