Bristol Palin, Keith Olbermann Trade Barbs
CBS News ^ | December 3, 2010

Posted on 12/03/2010 2:29:37 PM PST by Pinkbell

(AP) Bristol Palin is striking back against MSNBC host Keith Olbermann for dubbing her "worst person in the world."

Olbermann gave her the title on his show earlier this week, casting her as a hypocrite for appearing in a public service announcement promoting abstinence and safe sex. Palin was an unmarried teenager when she had her son, Tripp.

He likened her being an abstinence spokeswoman to saying former President George W. Bush "kept us safe, 'cept for that 9-11 thing, which doesn't count."

The 20-year-old "Dancing With the Stars" diva and daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin defended herself on Facebook Thursday. She said calling her a hypocrite is an "old canard." And she said that what Olbermann lacks in originality he makes up for with "insincere incredulity."

Good for Bristol. Obamaman needs taken down a notch or two.

Ot:
Is anyone watching ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska’?
I was taken by the beauty of Willow. She’s even prettier than Bristol and almost as pretty as her mother.

The best way to get zotted would be to carry grudges from thread to thread, make personal attacks for no reason to a poster that you have had no contact with since three years ago when you were pushing Romney and Mormonism on a thread, and he was against both.

This is the most bizarre case of delayed stalking that I have ever seen here at FR, on this thread I have defended Palin and her children, I don’t remember if I have mentioned Mitt Romney though, and I don’t believe that I have mentioned Mormonism on this thread, but I did on another thread today, and I sure attacked the scum bag Mitt Romney today, I guess you must have noticed those other threads and decided to do this weird stalking thing.

I don't have television, but at some point the libraries will get the DVD set, I look forward to watching it.

If I could do that, then I would probably have TV, I will have to wait for the DVD.

Excuse me, but for watching on your computer, a television is not required. It will help if you have a monitor, though! I use my Vizio 37" 1080 for watching downloaded shows, and a Viewsonic 24 for everyday use. I have a switch to swap from the Directv tuner or my MacBook.

It's the modern way of watching many shows! I use HULU and other sources as well. iTunes also gives you an opportunity to download on your COMPUTER system.

I have a TV, I just don’t have television, I use the TV for watching DVDs from the library, but I don’t have any access to the networks, or cable, and that is on purpose.

I have done HULU on my old 15 inch, 1990s monitor and I know it is there.

I do look forward to seeing this series about Alaska.

I agree. I am so tired of hearing about the Palin family soap opera. If SP wants to look presidential, she will have to tell her family to shut up and start ignoring the silly comments that others make. This constant sniping is so juvenile, and that includes Barbara Bush.

Don’t we have enough real problems to deal with?

Leaders and potential leaders worldwide are certainly looking like huge soap operas. The fact is the media is driving it all. The question one needs to ask is why saturate the news with this stuff? Might be because the people eat it up.

Yes, I’m afraid you are correct. *sigh*

Yep...they eat it up while the real news goes unheard and unreported...except of course as an afterthought.

Oh, I guess I’m supposed to feel bad now? Because big “L” libertarian candidates lost? I guess I’ll never get over your incredible debating skill. Or your ability to ignore reality:

Reality?

So they would not call themselves a "libertarian" like you do? LOL.

BTW your screen name has the big "L".......

I’m not bashing Republicans. Just RINOs

What do you think the R in RINO is for? . There is not one Republican who does not meet your RINO standards.

"Reality? So they would not call themselves a "libertarian" like you do? LOL.

So there is a difference between an LP member willing to discard the entire GOP party apparatus instead of reclaiming it, and one who feels that government is best which governs least--a distinction obviously not evident to someone like you whose perspective is built around smoking whatever RINO sausage comes down the primrose lane. But to avoid the distraction you intend to provide, I'm evidently offending RINOs like you simply by asking questions regarding your latest flame, because it's somehow offensive and [shudder] libertarian ("Eek! A libertarian!") to you when someone wants to know how a candidate views the plain language of the Constitution. Only a RINO like you would think that, because only a RINO like you would want their RINO fave candidates hiding their views, knowing conservative GOP primary voters don't like RNC hacks like you.

BTW your screen name has the big 'L'......."

And? So? Your screen name has 'seller' in it, when you're a [sausage-like object, in your case, almost certainly a small one] for free.

"What do you think the R in RINO is for? . There is not one Republican who does not meet your RINO standards."

When it comes to RINOs like you, the "R" must stand for something that rhymes with 'schmetard.' Asking Republican candidates to answer questions before I vote for them, instead of remaining silent on the issues of the day, omigosh, what impossibly high standards! /sarc

Being the subject of some one’s frequent thoughts and ponderings is an odd place to be, it hadn’t occurred to me that people on the internet would think about me as an individual so often, or so intensely.

I would think that my homepage would indicate a male, or that you would have noticed that in my military postings, that I served in a Ranger company, or that you noticed my posts involving interaction with females that clearly comes from a male perspective.

I don’t know whether to be flattered, or discomfited that you think about me so often, do you share Hildy’s pro-abortion, pro-homosexual agenda, anti-social conservative, pro-Romney politics? Do you see my being conservative as a male thing?

There is no soap opera, you are an impressionable person that the media manipulates, it is only in your head.

“I think her coming back at Olbermann is classless and, frankly. immature. This argument is the kind of argument we use in high school.”

And Olberman’s “worst person in the world” shtick does not even rise to your rating of a “high school” argument. It’s so 6th grade.

The McCain cow is an over-privileged, whining, imbecilic princess who instigates negative situations. Bristol is the recipient of situations created by over-privileged, whining inbecilic princesses — and moronic TV commentators.

Hildy... ya gotta think things through. The good Lord gave you a brain. Logic is your friend.
