Bubba and Obie are the same...neither cares anything about the other. They use people. That's what they do.

The difference is when it comes down to a fight...Obie would give you concrete shoes and Bubba would buy knee pads for your daughter.

For a fiscal conservative, this agreement between Obama and the GOP leadership is an abomination. It does nothing to help the economy, and it increases the deficit. I cannot believe that any conservative cannot see that this bill is everything that we hate. Too many have bought into the MSM canard that this bill is a GOP win. The bill needs to be totally rejected.

...pass a retroactive clean bill after Jan 21.

New congress begins on January 3, 2011 at noon.

It took generations to get us into this cesspool of corruption and broken government. One election wasn’t going to cure it.

We have a long struggle ahead of us to reclaim our country. November wasn’t final victory. It was only the first one of many that are needed.

Agree -it is a long term thing. There is a young generation of clueless useful idiots that elected these fools -many can be brought to the light -some, unfortunately are lost forever...

The Marxist is only figuring out how to redistribute wealth thru Government giveaways.

That is all it is, and why should this really be a surprise to anyone here?

McConnell should be recalled if he is the central GOP leader who “made” this so-called deal.

This is only Porkulus by another name.

the Repubs kill it and come back after everyone is sworn it with a retrocative tax bill extending them ALL for another 10 years!!!

Looks like that's the only practical thing to do until the Repubs have the speakership and committees.

Sounds good to me. Don’t let Democrats run the show. They lost the right to last month.

How could the Republicans not have known about all of the pork in this bill? Is it possible they didn’t know? I thought the deal was hammered out between them and Obama. This doesn’t look good for them.

Klintoon did the same with Newt. You can NOT trust a commie & these (R) weaklings will never figure it out, therefore they must go also.

Time for the Repubs to step up and say NFW. State their intentions to walk away from more of the same crap, hold up the add ons and God help any Repub that tried to horse trade a perk for his/her district.

Kill it.
Any Republicans thinking they are going to get positive credit for this bil are delusional. Kill it and kill it now or expect for conservatives to launch a public offensive about how you are already breaking your word to be fiscally responsible.

This is why the TEA Party movement must succeed in throwing the OLD GUARD OUT! McConnell is proof of that. Throw the bums out. Stop the spending, the gifts, the special interest subsidies! We can’t afford it! NO MORE PORK!
No more ONE GIFT FOR THEE BUT NOT FOR ME, yet I have to pay for it. Treat us ALL ALIKE or don’t treat us at all.

It’s also “typical Republican behavior.” It has to stop.

I knew this was going to happen.

Everyone gets some and it’ll pass.

So much for fiscal responsibility

I agree. I thought so when the only pork was the deficit spending for Unemployment Benefits... now I am 1000% certain

Is Boehner still reading Monday’s NY Times exclaiming that “Obama caved”!?

He sure is MIA on this sellout bill and being taken to the woodshed by Nancy.
