I don’t really give a rat’s ass if they changed their story.

Oh, so now it doesn't matter that Jane's retracted it. A few posts back it mattered, but now it doesn't. Same thing happened with the LAX webcam pic. You threw everything you had at it to discredit it, but when you failed to do so, you declared that it didn't matter. Same with a hundred other positions you've taken. When you get beat, you either change the subject, go silent on that point, or declare that it doesn't matter. I guess it's a handy approach since it makes your argument impervious to counterargument in your own mind, but if your aim is to convince anybody of anything, it ain't working.

You're like a football team in the playoffs who gets to unilaterally declare which games will result in disqualification after you've played in them. Each time you lose you just say that game didn't count. At this point you're like 0 and 100, yet you think you still deserve to be taken seriously as a contender. Which is of course laughable.

So did the DoD. So has the MSM. So have most of the people here who now say “contrail.” So what?

But doesn't this prove that they didn't have a conspiratorial agenda? If their intent was to convince the public that it was just a jet contrail, why would they have initially said it was a rocket? Either it's an incredibly convoluted conspiracy or it's a simple case of them changing their conclusion once they had seen more of the evidence. Occam's razor and common sense say it was the latter.

By your logic (or at least the logic you're using at this particular moment), the earth doesn't really revolve around the sun since some experts initially said it was the other way around.

"I watched the original CBS video-—several times.

~~~~~~~~~
A whole 12 seconds of video -- time scrambled, looped and freeze-framed to make up that "original CBS video"...
You (and a horde of other good folks) were suckered by a SeeBS "Sweeps Week" hoax -- and I can prove it:
Read this FR post: RAW VIDEO: Mysterious Contrail Off Calif. (CBS's title) -- including comments #1, #21, and #34. Then please come back here, FRiend, and let us know if your faith in that "original CBS video" is still intact.
IT WAS A CBS LIE.
You are not going to fool me friend...they know and many of the military expert said that it originated off shore! Daaaa, hello! Did a plane launch from the ocean...omg...how dumb can you be! Give me a break! And that huge contrail starts at the beginning unlike a jet and the trajectory at the beginning especially is NOT a jet’s trajectory. I think someone has put you up to this and you are some sort of spinster here. O well. Take care anyways...don’t waste you time with anymore BS because anyone with commonsense is not buying it! And even the military, when contacted, said they did not know what it is..DAAA! If it was a commercial or other jet they clearly would have stated that! DAAAA!
Yes, and thank God I am not one...do not really know what you are up to here but it is something pretty odd. I actually think you were hired to put out disinformation.
I have never once accused anyone of a conspiracy so that's a lie too.
Accused? no. Insinuated? yes. Also, you have never once provided a shred of actual proof for your silly conspiracy missile, and you never will, because you don't have jack squat.
Accused? no. Insinuated? yes.
Prove that. Post a link to any post where I have insinuated it or STFU.
Here is a quiz for you Fabian.
1) Is this finger pointed in your direction or upwards at the ceiling?
Finger Pointing
2) Is this a plane flying in your direction or a missile launching vertically?
Vertical Appearing Contrail
3) Are these normal contrails or evidence of rockets launched upwards from the bridge?
Missiles?
4) Is this a normal contrail or did Dr. Evil launch a missile from his lair in the mountain?
Contrail Pic
5) Does this fence line come from beyond the horizon or does it start at the horizon?
Fence Line Over Horizon
6) Does this contrail come from beyond the horizon?
Vertical Appearing Contrail 2
7) How about this one?
Vertical Appearing Contrail 3
8) Or this one from 2009?
Vertical Appearing Contrail 4
9) And finally....how about this, the supposed missile?
Contrail
10) Isn't it possible that it's a contrail just like the others, from a plane flying inland from over the horizon?
***Bonus question***
Here's the LAX webcam pic again that shows it from another angle:
Cargo Law Profile Shot
Are you really sure you're looking at a missile launch?
Would you like to call your lifeline?
Isn't the notion that the government would launch a missile off the coast of LA in full public view and then not acknowledge it kind of a conspiracy? Just a little bit?
No, that would not be a conspiracy that would either be an observation or a speculation.
It certainly wouldn't be the same as accusing other posters of a conspiracy since they would be two entirely different things.
But, since I have never contended that that is what happened, that is just a hypothetical you are projecting with no basis in reality.
You know what I mean, but I’ll rephrase more precisely so you can’t wiggle free.
Wouldn’t it be a bit of a conspiracy for the government to launch a missile off the coast of L.A. in full view of the public and then to not acknowledge it? Wouldn’t the government be conspiring to keep the public in the dark?
I was accused of accusing other posters of being conspirators. How is it "wiggling free" to say that your straw man about something entirely different doesn't apply? It's a non-sequitur. How is it "wiggling free" to say that I never made that contention? Either the facts fit your accusation or they don't and they clearly don't.
I’m saying you believe in a conspiracy theory regarding the missile that apparently includes the DoD. Is that incorrect?
Believing in a missile launch is believing in some level of conspiracy by default.
Play with whatever photos you wish...fine with me...I and former air force generals including one interviewed in Russia knows that was a missile. Good luck with some one else! You are really mixed up and a bit obvious really.
No. I have stated several times before this exchange, with no equivocation whatsoever, that I do not think that. I hope that is clear enough for you. I said it again pretty clearly in #593 and I repeated it in slightly different words in #595. If 'no' isn't clear I can say it in Spanish. No.
So the govt is launching missiles off the coast of Los Angeles in broad daylight, but there’s no conspiracy. This is just business as usual.
