Homosexuals have been doing that on their own, without Obama, forever. Disney's animation studio was a closed gay shop as long ago as the 1950's -- do you think any talented heterosexual animators might have been denied a career, possibly? Theater's been closed to all but "gay-friendly" heterosexuals since ..... well, for a hell of a long time. The 60's, maybe. Maybe longer. How many heterosexual music men, how many Jimmy Cagneys, got shut out by the likes of Tommy Tune and Bob Fosse?
Gays are a faction. They'll behave selfishly and viciously toward others everywhere they can get away with it, because that's what factions do.

Labor's problem is slave labor and captive labor (no way out) undercutting wages. As long as the Chinese use prison slave-labor and people like Carlos Slim in Mexico can use political clout to hold down Mexican wages -- the old Spanish Empire wealth-building formula, with all the social problems described by Juan and Ulloa in the 18th century in their report to the King -- then labor-market poachers like Mexico and China will always be a problem for anyone who wants to live better than a Mexican campesino in his dirt-floor cinderblock casa.
(By the way, I wasn't kidding about the dirt floor. Business Week did a cover article on Mexican manufacturing and offshoring by e.g. Ford in 1994 or 1995. They found a Mexican welder living in a shack like that with his pregnant wife, two kids, and mother-in-law, and the guy was welding for Ford for $75/week. His "benefits" were taco lunch and car fare to work.)
We had a warrant Officer overseas who showed the signs of an alternative lifestyle who started giving another soldier in our section all kinds of “good duties” and good duty locations to boot because we were pretty sure he had the hots for him. We all had our suspicions but that is as far as it went. Those of us who wouldn’t “work late” with him on his special projects were deemed non-team players and given less coveted duties.
This will be a huge problem within the ranks and not just that but the flagrant abuse of the EO complaint system when an “alternative” soldier doesn’t get his/her way will abound as it does now with just a male and female scenario.

Bingo. In the Army it was folks who had just received their language training and preferred to work for Exxon then the military. It would be interesting to track these people and see how many are married with children now.

What I was attempting to convey was that you were using the words the left have promoted and used to in essence pervert truth by dressing up evil with nice clothing e.g. wolves in sheeps clothing.
Using "their" terminology tends to reinforce the lies and distance one from the truth. e.g. choice sounds so much nicer than abortion and "gay" sounds so much nicer that person who is inclined to and or chooses to engage in homosexual sex.
Recently we see the repeal of the military "gay ban" which really was just legalizing homosexual sex in the military...
Anyway -my posting to you was an effort to get you to stop and think for a second about just what you were stating. That is all it was -it was not a personal attack upon you. Think of these terms as you might consider swearing or vulgarity -if you use certain words they become habitual and eventually you use them without thinking just what they mean and as well become desensitized to their effects. To break the habit you must stop and decide to consciously not use the offending words -in essence develop a new habit...

I see them more as an anti-Christian front group as opposed to a leftist front group. Nearly everything they do goes against the teachings of Jesus, and most people who have even a cursory working knowledge of those teachings (sadly, that number is far too low) can see right through their tactics.
I believe the WBC's targets are not gays per se, but rather people who are considering Christianity, or people who identify as Christians but who are not particularly religious. Their preaching of these lies about Christ will have a terrible effect on people who know of Jesus, but who do not know Jesus. Their preaching also plays right into the hands of people who are opposed to Christianity. These activities give such people a free "Christians are haters" card to play against the faithful.
Obama does not give a rats petard about anyone but himself so he is politically doing this last minute TO GET VOTES and appeal to his base.
They might be working the issue right now for all we know. As well. Glenn Beck's group may be working it. One thing is for sure regarding finding corruption with this administration -it is a target rich environment. One does not have to dig deep to uncover malfeasance; in fact, one does not have to dig at all -it is stacked high and wide...
