(CathNews) Santa will not be visiting students in St. Peter, Minnesota this year. Muslim immigrants got him cancelled. The MinnPost reported, via Pat Dollard:
Santa Claus, as portrayed by Dennis Jackson, won’t be visiting students at the Head Start classes in St. Peter this year.
Jackson has made appearances the past four years at the classes for students who need help preparing for school, but this year officials said, “No, no, no.”
The reason: The classes have many immigrant children who don’t celebrate Christmas, says the Mankato Free Press.
Santa’s a little frosted, the paper says.
It kind of burnt me up,” he said.
The official explanation from Chris Marben, who coordinates regional Head Start programs through Mankato-based Minnesota Valley Action Council: “We have Somali families in the program. We’re respecting the wishes of families in the program.”
She didn’t say how many objections were made, but said more than one would be enough to cancel Santa…
Jackson said he’s played Santa with children from other cultures before and they were fully comfortable with him. He said it’s their parents who are being unreasonable.
“They’re not respecting the majority,” he said. “My feeling is (objecting parents) can take their kids out of class for half an hour and let the other kids enjoy it. They should sacrifice, not rule.”

The people of Minnesota would be wise to re-read the history of Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust. In fact, Liberals in this Congress and this Regime would be well served as well.

Santa needs to file a discrimination suit. they are infringeing on his right to free press. This is just ridiculous. We all know that there is no such thing as santa Claus, but explain that to the children in the Head Start Program whom will be discriminated against because santa is white christian. The PC is going to far. !5 years from now there will be a rise in crime because the children in head start were affected emotionally in a negative way.
People from fundamentally different cultures simply cannot live together in peace. I’m sorry, it’s a fact. Multiculturalism doesn’t work. These people don’t belong here, and we import them at our peril. The immigration code must be reformed.

You are correct! The problem is; The Liberals flock to these programs. They feel that they are obligated to provide the children with a moral compass. Their moral compass. Instead of giving the kid’s a leg up by teaching the children to read and write, prior to entering academia, they chose to indoctrinate instead. If Conservatives were to volunteer, and teach/mentor these children, we would have a better program, and healthier children.
It really burns my chaps when they allow displays of Mexican flags in schools, then send children home who proudly display the American flag. Sorry, American school means that the American flag is the only one that shall be displayed. The Pope while a Cardinal, said in 2001; (paraphrasing) “ It is the responsibility of the host nation to welcome immigrants and recognize their plight. Show compassion. It is also the reponsibility of the immigrant to accept the culture and traditions of the host nation, and to faithfully practice those traditions.” I agree. I’am certainly cappable of showing my fellow man compassion. I only ask for a moderate amount of respect in return.
I spent 14 months in Iraq. The Iraqies worked on some of the bases. In order for them to do so, they were subject to what amounted to a strip search, Hijab and all. They gladly complied. Often removing their Hijab, and opening it up, without be asked to do so. They understood the rules, and simply wished to work. Yet, here, we are required to defer to their traditions and repect their culture; i.e. drivers license pictures, security, the free display of christianity, etc... NO!!!!! Don’t like it leave. As for those immigrants who love this country and respect our nation’s traditions, I stand shoulder to shoulder with you, and would love to experience some of your culture.
I think the American-ness of Santa is just as objectionable to the libtards and/or Muslims (whichever complained) as the supposed “Christian” aspect of Santa - which is negligible.
But I will be my hat and ass that they will celebrate Ramadan and the Christian kids will have go grin, bear it, and accept it The ass - - - - s better wake up and realize that people from other countries and religions are going to have to love it or leave it, when it comes to American customs and traditions.
