I pinged everybody but the kitchen sink to Post #60 and forgot you, my friend. This is an old poll with over 3.48 million responses, but freeping it has upped the percentage of “no” votes by 0.02%. That’s pretty good.

Liberals are always in favor of burning the flag. I always wonder what their reaction would be if you burned a UN flag, or a Cuban or Saudi Arabian flag?

This is so bizzare it can only mean one thing - the North American Union, slated to be in place by the end of 2010, to replace the dollar with a North American currency called the Amero, is now officially behind schedule.

The ruling class needs to ram this one through before the Tea Party gets any more traction on returning the USA back to its glory days.

As Gator113 posted. That would be called a HATE CRIME. HUMMM, I wonder if the Supremes would change their opinion on American Flag Burning, if we claimed a Hate Crime?

Defund all schools that:

1) ban American flags or any other display of reasonable patriotism/reverence for veterans etc.

2) will not work with ROTC (applies to colleges)

Let the local scumbags pay for them.

“The poll was posted in May of 2010.”

My mistake.

If it was brought to my attention in May of 2010, I forgot. If the date was clear on the poll’s web-page, I didn’t notice it. A friend sent to me an Email notice about the poll, just the day before I posted the link here.

Next time Z’ll check the web page for the poll more carefully.

Thanks for the heads up.

“Where were you on May 6th?”

I guess I was AWOL, along with a friend who sent me an Email about the poll the day before I posted the link for it here.

Maybe, I also did not scrutinize well enough the web page for the poll, which might have had the date on it.

mea cupla

You’re welcome. Overlooking dates is an easy mistake, especially when it’s something sent from a friend. We assume they have their act together, but none of us are perfect.

Happy New Year!! :)

Do not beat thyself up. Lots of us have made “date mistakes,” sometimes responding to really old threads, or posting old polls or political cartoons. [cough — ahem...me too]

This poll is still up and running, and there is no reason for you to be apologizing for bumping the “no” votes up a few tenths of a percent. That’s actually quite an accomplishment in a poll with such a huge number of responses.

So here’s a virtual {{{pat on the back for Wuli}}}

Should the American Flag be Banned — in America?
No. This is a lame decision. Teach the kids what the flag means, instead of banning it. 77.18% (2,696,018 votes)

Yes. The safety of students comes first. 17.18% (600,060 votes)

Not sure, but of all things to ban, the American flag would seem the least ‘incendiary.’ 0.19% (6,739 votes)

Other (post a comment) 5.45% (190,486 votes)

Total Votes: 3,493,303
