Plea deal mulled for Arizona Muslim who murdered his daughter in honor killing
Jihad Watch ^ | January 5, 2011

In November 2009, the Arizona Republic reported (thanks to Pamela Geller) that, according to state prosecutor Stephanie Low, Faleh Almaleki admitted that he ran over his daughter on purpose: "By his own admission, this was an intentional act and the reason was that his daughter had brought shame on him and his family. This was an attempt at an honor killing." If he admitted to intentional murder, how is it that he was able to plead not guilty, and why is a plea deal being discussed? Pamela Geller has more on this, also -- including how the prosecutor ruled out seeking the death penalty because he wanted to give "no appearance that a Christian is seeking to execute a Muslim for racial, political, religious or cultural beliefs."

Yes, you read that right.

Pamela also supplies the contact info: "Call, write, email Maricopa County Superior Court, 201 W Jefferson St # 4, Phoenix: (602) 506-2020. This is an outrage. Contact form. No plea for honor killers. Noor deserves justice. We want a trial."

Yes.

"Plea deal possible for Glendale man accused of killing daughter," from the Associated Press, January 5 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

"Attorneys are discussing a possible plea deal for an Iraqi immigrant accused of killing his daughter because he believed she was too Westernized. Attorneys discussed a plea deal for Faleh Hassan Almaleki on Wednesday during a last-minute closed-door meeting in Maricopa County Superior Court, but did not reach an agreement...."

Almaleki has pleaded not guilty, and faces life in prison if convicted of the first-degree murder charge against him....

Noor was in a coma for two weeks before succumbing to her injuries, in a case that caused outrage nationwide and that prosecutors called an "honor killing."

Maricopa County? This is Sheriff Joe country.

I wonder what he thinks about the corruption, high treason, defiance of the Law and pollution in his county's DA office.

I disagree, the Imam will throw a party honoring his actions.

This koranimal also had its family involved too. Are any charges being brought against them or have they fled the country already?

Can anyone name one other religion where a father can actually admit to killing their own daughter on purpose, and actually get the ear of the prosecutor for the purposes of a plea deal?

Our education system must be incredibly bad, if this is all the moral acuity our graduates exit the system with.

Unbelievable. Just absolutely unbelievable. I don't know how this individual managed to get through college and earn a JD. Wait, what am I saying. I know EXACTLY how it happened. Never mind. I “vass dare, Sharlie.” Willfully blind leading the legally blind.

Put this Mooslime in prison for life and feed him pork three times a day. Make sure his cell has an arrow that points 180 degrees away from Mecca for his prayers.

When he dies, cremate him with slaughtered pig remains. Give the ashes to his family. Make sure you tell them of his blasphemy — tell them he converted to Christianity before he died.

Well, I probably wouldn't do more (or less) than the law provides, and if that is life in prison or the death penalty, I'd ask any discoverable family members what they'd like to have done with the remains, but I can certainly appreciate your point of view. This isn't about religion — theirs or ours — it's about justice and the law. Justice is supposed to blind, I'm just worried that she's going deaf, too.

...and pretty women (like this young girl) will pay the price. I’m glad I’m middle-aged with no girls of my own.

“no appearance that a Christian is seeking to execute a Muslim for racial, political, religious or cultural beliefs.”

OK then how about just executing him for plain old cold blooded murder.

You fight the ignorant Muslim barbarians with their own “religious” beliefs — feed ‘em pork, pickle them in alcohol, and package them with pig parts/alcohol when they die.

Mr. Muslim isn't going to heaven, he won't get milk, honey, and 72 virgins. He's going to Islamic hell and there's no way his relatives will be able to get him absolved of his “sins”. It's the perfect kind of punishment for these scum.
