Here is what Sarah Palin said on the Facebook page where she depicted Gabrielle Giffords in the cross hairs of a rifle scope: "Don't retreat! Instead - RELOAD!"
Well, the guy who shot Giffords yesterday managed to keep firing until he killed six, including a child, and wounded 13 .
Palin would no doubt say that she was only speaking in metaphor, that she only meant her followers should work to unseat Giffords and 19 other Democrats who had roused her ire by voting for health care.
But anyone with any sense at all knows that violent language can incite actual violence, that metaphor can incite murder. At the very least, Palin added to a climate of violence.

Anyone else notice how rapidly the MSM went to the “blame Palin/Tea Party” mode? It seems they already had their pre-written talking points in the can and ready to go as soon as they could use them.
Say, I just read in another thread that the symbols on Palin’s map are SURVEYOR’s Location Marks, and are not “cross hairs” — have you heard anything about that?

...Rep. Michele Bachmann says her "tears are flowing" at the news. She says she had the privilege of knowing Giffords as a friend, and she calls her colleague someone who governed with integrity and wisdom.
He wants us to believe that he is neither left or right - that he is that rare persona who can incorporate the best of both sides. The truth is - Geraldo is a sensationalist! He will throw either side under the bus to promote a good story. He feels no loyalty to either side, allowing him to fit the story to his own brand of sleaze journalism!
Then you are blind to reality. If the shooter turned out to be someone with a McVeigh-type background, there would be screams to shut down talk radio and censor the internet. Several congressmen yesterday already spouted off about hate rhetoric and the Tea Party.

The shooter was a headjob and a lefty. The people who knew him said he was almost killed by alchol poisioning and wasnt the same after that.

No, what is disgusting is the the left started making the connection between Palin's "crosshairs" and the shooter before he was even identified. Those of us who were online at the time saw this development spread across the web like fire.
It indicates the left is hoping and praying for an act of violence from someone that can be connected to conservatism in the hopes of silencing us once and for all.
If another McVeigh-type surfaces, will the left completely silence us? Of course not, but they will make incremental progress towards it, like they always do.

I caught the beginning (by accident) of his show last night. I was outraged and immediately fired off an email to FNC. He needs to publicly apologize or be gone. I am personally boycotting ANY FNC show that has this POS on as a guest.

They all get their talking points every day. I would bet the points do not come from a legit News source. An investigation is in order to get to the source of the lies. Collectivists are usually controlled from a central point. We need to find the source of it all. The house should hold hearings on it and expose it.
The attention span for any news these days is a week to 10 days. The MSM will be moving on to another “crisis” shortly and this all will pass.
Yes, they do. I remember listening to Rush when I was on the road to corpus Christi in the mid - late 90s. He got the talking points memo faxed to his office by accident. Every news cast that afternoon had the same wording. He even READ the memo on the air, and then had a montage of the news reports. Almost word for word from what the memo said.
Wonder who the source of the disinformation is?
