As I’ve said, I’ll leave the Christie situation to those in NJ. For us in fly over country we enjoy watching him take the unions to task.

NJ has no Education Commission. We re missing one Judge on our NJ Supreme Court and yet he is running around the country feeding his ego.

NJ needs a committed leader, and he is not it!!!

And now the RINO Peter King has joined Bloomberg with his gun control meme.

I’m a total Sarah fan and her video was great. She said it all in 7 minutes.

I only watched the last 5 or so minutes of Christie when Wallace was harping on his running for President.

Everything he said was fine, except with my ‘Palin protective’ instincts out, I thought it was a tiny jab on Palin for him to say that 2 years as governor didn’t qualify him to be president.

How many years was Palin governor of Alaska? Yeah, right, and how many years did Obama do anything at all, or anything right? Zero years.

The first thing Sarah Palin did as mayor of Wasilla was ELIMINATE property taxes (a defacto seizure of private property).

Hah, so that explains why Christie is no Sarah fan.

She actually accomplished something he promised and failed to produce.

You’re exactly right about smoking.

There are so many maniacal smoking haters that they abandon their principles to agree with the smoking nazis.

I hope they remember that when the government takes away their hamburgers and chips.

This is a huge tax mostly on poor people (like my husband) and it infuriates me.

Face the Nation, Guliani defends Sarah Palin and her video. This had nothing to do with the left or right, but the mental state of Loughner.

Scheiffer asks Gov. Rendell about “civil discourse”. (I am SOOOOOOOOO sick of that phrase!!!) Rendell says we need a rational discussion on guns. Asks, “Does any citizen need a clip with 33 bullets in it?”

Schumer's concern about the mentally ill is a new liberal totalitarina tactic. There are laws on the books now to deal with the Loughners of the world - cities and states don't use them because it cost money. The AZ sheriff had ample reason and power to deal with Loughner - and chose not to because he was a liberal...

What liberals are trying to do is politicize mental illness so conservatives can be defined as mentally ill for not agreeing with liberal ideas. Being against homosexual rights is very close to being considered a mental illness even now. Wanting to have a gun in your home will be class as 'mentally ill' by liberals if they can use this crisis to achieve old goals in new ways.

Totalitarian first world cultures have used this tactic to take out opponents. Germany, USSR, etc... countries that are past the easy point of taking opponents out back and shooting them ( like Iran or North Korea ) have found 'mental illness' to be the tactic of choice.

Dems do NOT have good intentions... ever.

On Meet The Press they are talking about crazy people that are dangerous. And how they need to be handled. What strikes me as funny is that they turn a blind eye to the fact that islam wants to kill us all. They are all crazy.

"Pawlenty isn’t doing himself proud this morning. He sounds awful and unprepared."

He also looks exctly like the Jackwagon in the Geico commercial. Wallace should ask him if yellow makes him sad.

If Barry could have his way there would be ‘involuntary commitment’ laws just like they had in the old Soviet Union. The rational? Anyone who doesn't agree 100% with his socialist agenda is obviously crazy.

I tried. I really did. After 20 minutes of This Week I couldn’t take it anymore. Amanpour fulfilling her desired kumbya moments are too much to watch for very long.

lol, I only watched it because nothing else was on. I liked the TP dude who found all the clapping inappropriate. I didn't get it either.

Liberals are responsible (a lot) for the condition of the mentally ill. I feel sorry for Loughner’s parents (well, a little sorry).

Once we could commit someone like this guy to a mental institution against his/her will after a fair hearing. I attended one many years ago with a friend whose husband needed to be committed.

Now, that can’t be done. What mentally ill person will agree to an institution. very few, so now they make up the majority of the homeless population, and some of them are dangerous.

This is the kind of thing that scares the Washington DC crowd, Republicans and Democrats alike. Sarah Palin HAS WALKED THE TALK. Governor Palin defeated both parties corruption and the recipients of her policies can’t stand that.

Voters, on the other hand, love her doing it. Which is why her popularity rating in Alaska was so high.

Yep, many are relishing in the goodies and aren’t able to see the disaster of the Democrat’s incomplete health care insurance reform bill, it should have been completely written before it was voted on. Instead, we were conned about all it would do, and now no one, not even elected Democrats, or business leaders, can predict what federal agencies will put in the bill. Great legislation while your side runs the show, but just wait till the tide turns...

Meanwhile the Obama march continues as the media and politicians divert our attention from what is significant we hear. The rest of the world could care less about mental illness in the US.

Ex: China is placing troops on the northern border of N.Korea now.

Would be great to hear the media report on this...and discussion of.

Maine’s new TEApublican governor tells NAACP to: “Kiss my butt!”

Coming from a rightie I would think this is fairly uncivil!!! The left is always welcome to spew the "Truth" to power with no consequences, of course, AND will be repeated over and over and over by the stenographers in the state run propaganda machine.

Yeah, I always thought Peter King was pretty good for a NYer pol. His ‘little people shall not have 2nd Amendment rights in the presence of big people’ bit, however, is absolutely appalling.

"lol, I only watched it because nothing else was on. I liked the TP dude who found all the clapping inappropriate. I didn't get it either. "

It was right after that when Eric Fuller stood up and yelled "you are dead!" to the Tea Party guy. Of course ABC edited that part out completely.
