Is NOTHING sacred to the hate-filled Republicans?
Corruption sure isnt sacred to Republicans.
So thats where bagdad bob ended up.Who knew?
The articles I've read in the past didn't have this depth of Democrat slime background.
Sadly, I don't think we'll see anything of this sort from the formerly free American people. Too many are indoctrinated, and fully support the New American Police State.
If you are serious, then please read the entire article, especially the part where your people shot the elderly black man in the back for simply trying to vote. I rather doubt that you’ve read the 14th and 15th Amendments passed during reconstruction and against your party’s vehement objections. Your thoroughly corrupt democrat machine had subverted the free election process in Tennessee to the point where there was no recourse. And that was common throughout the land in the 1930s and 1940s. But, again, I doubt you are a student of history, nor do you understand bad government and abridgment of precious freedoms.
I think a joyful mistake that the new militarized police forces are making is training their new recruits to gun down people's dogs if the dogs look at them the wrong way.
Americans can tolerate a LOT of injustice to people, but they're kind of funny about brutality towards dogs and cats. Just read any of the FR animal cruelty threads - you'll see people flipping out over it.
I'm not sure why the newer police are being trained this way, but it's a good thing for us as dissenters.
Read my post #23 for your answer.
I live in Athens, about two blocks from the old jail, there are no commerative markers, no nothing to mark this battle. Athens is now a very conservative, quiet place to live.

Like when the press doesnt list the corrupt offenders party in the first paragraph or at all...you may assume that person is a democrat...”
You know that “we” can edit pages on Wikipedia, and if “we” provide references, it's possible it will stay edited...
“We” of course being folks who like to contribute to society... ;)
I live in Athens and it is a wonderful town - old time manners, great TEA Party group, a local radio station that starts its Trading Post program with a scripture reading, no bars or prostitution anymore that I can see :)
Thanks Gunny - a great read.
We should all keep our minds sharp - and knowing history is one of the best ways.

“During the Civil War, deep from within secessionist territory, McMinn County had sided with the Union;”
Many men from McMinn County mustered in the Confederate army..they linked up with men from Monroe County to form part of the 3rd Tennessee Cavalry (Lillards) and (Vaughns).

They're flipping out on the WP comments section, for crying out loud! Imagine!
Thanks for the post. Lived in Middle TN in the 60’s where I had Tennessee history in the 5th grade. First I ever heard of this. Very interesting. No wonder the lefties are suspicious of the military. Leftists need to understand that this can, and will, happen again if they do not keep their corruption under control.
The media should take note of a lesson here: People do not need the media to tell them when corruption is rampant in government. The people know it and eventually get fed up.
Very true. This was the first I had heard of it. It would make a good movie. Hollywood, of course, would not touch it, since the thugs are FDR Democrats. Or they would rewrite it to make the bad guys Republicans and racists.
