American Thinker ran an interesting piece today entitled “The Birther Trial Balloon” by Cindy Simpson.
In it, Simpson makes the case that hiding Obama’s birth certificate is part of some scheme for his re-election campaign: ie, to create a mystery just so Americans can be fascinated by it, then produce the document at the last minute to make conservatives look bad for asking to see it in the first place.
Just three short years ago, of course, I would have said that was ridiculous, but very little about the Obama administration or the things it does makes any sense.
For Simspon’s theory to be accurate, however, Obama, David Axelrod, and the rest would have had to conspire on this many, many years ago, hiding his birth certificate just so it could be used in a crazy scheme for his re-election bid in 2012. They also would have had to keep it hidden through his 2008 election bid, having masterfully laid down this future trap with re-election in mind.
Everyone involved with the Obama White House has proven they aren’t that smart.
Obama himself was a D student at Columbia and Harvard (produce his transcripts and prove me wrong). Axelrod is a master manipulator and inventor of astroturfing, but he’s not a psychic genius.
Obama’s just benefitting from conservatives’ constant fear of the media, in this issue and with everything else.

It takes about four years to create perfect forgeries and to create a trail of birth evidence where none existed.
The same thing was said on rush today. Its just a big trap to make the right look bad. This man is a scheming POS.

Document or no document, if Obummer’s pappy is the Muslim Kenyan, he still is not a natural born US citizen.
This is plain BS. Obammy already posted his supposed birth certificate months ago, only for it to be proven a fraud. He wouldn’t dare try for another dummied up certificate that wasn’t exactly like the one he posted. So he’s screwed. All he can do is wait it out and continue to refuse in hopes some judge won’t hold him in contempt for failing to abide by a court order. If he can slide through the next two years, he’s home free and he’ll never be required to prove he was a legitimate president. I doubt if he expects to run for a second term. Won’t happen.
I might have bought this line of thinking prior to Gov. Abercrombie announcing that there is not one and only hand written notes. Notes are not forms, they are just notes on paper and could have been created at any time.
I think if Obama produces something that the state of Hawaii has now said does not exist, Americans will see straight thru that. It will scream forgery to most normal people.
From what I hear, Abercrombie just plain screwed up.
I read that article in American Thinker and I’m not at all convinced. I don’t think its a trial balloon. I believe that Abercrombie just got a wild hare and did his thing and now its probably Barry’s worst nightmare come true.
I am thinking that the circumstance of the birth certificate came up, and then they got together to either make the most of it, or it doesn't exist. Why would it have to be conspiracy decades in the making?

This theory does not account for the fact that his ineligibility is unrelated to his missing docs.Article II means both parents must be citizens. If this were not so why did not the framers simply state “citizen” instead of “natural born citizen”?
It is apparent the political class steering this circus figured all the Americans were dead already and it would never be figured out by the 40 million new Aztecs roaming the land.
I don’t think the American people nor the military would appreciate the Commander in Chief playing games with the careers of
LTC Lakin, Captain Pamela Barnett
and Major Stefan Cook .
Obama had the DOJ pull two federal prosecutors ( David DeJute and Roger West ) away their normal assignments to argue against Captain Barnett.
He’d look like an even bigger POS if this was all some perverted White House game of hide and seek.
I think Abercrombie bought the WH and media version and stepped in it.
The GOP and the Left want their golden goose financial train to continue; not just so fast; so producing the bc and getting rid of Obama won’t do.
I reject that completely. There is nothing to be trapped into. Either he has legit birth docs or he doesn’t. If he’s legit, that’s just dandy. We’ll rest more comfortably knowing the constitution has not been subverted.
If Obama is playing some sort of game, that would make me dislike him even more.
Republicans subverted the Constitution by agreeing to HR 511 making McCain eligible when he was not. If he were eligible, he wouldn’t need HR 511. McCaskill made a deal with Repubs. They would make McCain eligible if nothing was said about Obama’s eligibility. Repubs thought McCain would win over Hillary. They got fooled when Dems ran Obama even though Hillary won the primaries. Every member of Congress, SCOTUS, White House knew Obama was not eligible. If they investigate Obama, they will have to admit their violation of the Constitution. I’m afraid something very tragic is going to happen in a desperate attempt to save face.
