I thought that Congresswoman Bachmann did a rather good job. I had no complaints.

I remember when Zell Miller spoke at the Republican convention in 2004 and Chrissy got Zell riled up enough to tell him that he (Zell Miller) was not like that girl he was so mean to. Then Zell told Chrissy that he wished they still lived in times when he could call Chrissy out for a duel. Matthews was blown away, he never imagined that anyone would talk to him the way Zell Miller did. Zell left no doubt that he holds Chrissy in total contempt. I would love to see Zell let go on a few other fools.
You don’t think the founding fathers debated slavery? The fact that the leftist media lie about everything Bachmann and every other conservative says doesn’t make their lies true, it just makes them liars. The left (especially MSNBC) will twist everything Bachmann says in an effort to attack her. That’s not her fault.
And the clip I was referring to was the one from election night where Matthews kept asking Bachmann “Are you hypnotised?”, and she responded, “Still got that tingle up your leg, Chris?”, sending Pissy off on a name-calling rant.
There is really no way to fight these people by going on their shows, it only gives them a false legitimacy. There is an old saying that advises never to argue with an idiot because listeners can’t tell the difference. The few clowns who take the MSNBC crew seriously will never be persuaded anyway. They see things through a filter and no matter what happens they will make excuses for Matthews, Olbermann or whatever idiot of the moment is on. Trust me, I know the type of fool who thinks Olbermann is a newsman, you cannot penetrate a concrete skull with reason.
If you go back and look at the clip of the Chrissy show that this thread is about (not the one from election night) he plays a clip of Bachmann talking, must have been several minutes long. She talks about the Founding Fathers and slavery. Her comments were not very well formed. She left herself open for someone like Chrissy to pounce.

We do need to engage them publically, though. Maybe the answer is as simple as this - put people on those shows that aren’t intimidated, that know how to fight back, and just sort of smirk and smile at the rantings and ravings of a lunatic like Matthews and/or Olbermann.
Sometimes a simple remark like “Why do you yell at/talk over/interrupt your guests so much, Chris? Don’t you realize how rude that is?”
Sometimes the simple weapon is the best weapon. Pointing out the raving on air as it happens is a perfect tool.
Once again it’s a case of our side playing by the rules, being poilte, etc., and the other side spewing venom at will, with no immediate, forceful response.
To this day however, I still dont understand how Rush let this tool sit in for him behind the golden mic.
