(CNN) – Former President George W. Bush's daughter Barbara is appearing in a new web video in support of gay marriage.

The 20-second spot released Monday is sponsored by the Human Rights Campaign, a civil rights organization that works to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.

"I'm Barbara Bush and I'm a New Yorker for marriage equality," Bush says. "New York is about fairness and equality and everyone should have the right to marry the person that they love. Join us."

I liked Cheney and still do somewhat but lets face it, let them get a queer in the family and they turn to mush. I don’t expect them to disown or beat their offspring but accepting and then pushing their perverted lifestyle as normal on the rest of us is just wrong!

I read somewhere, that GWB said the same thing. The quote was akin to”Who am I to say who can and who can’t get married”.Any one remember that?

LOL! And two dynasties unite! From what I heard about McCain and his feelings towards Bush, we might have another ‘Cain and Abel’!

I saw a clip of him being interviewed by C-SPAN'S Brian Lamb. In it, President Bush said that he was through with politics, through raising money for campaigns and not about to comment on his successor.

Thank you GW Bush. We've had enough of your socialist big spending programs and politically correct, pandering (but stupid) comments undermining America (aka Islam is a religion of peace - How's that Egypt thing looking right now?). 0bozo could smear you & insult you to no end, kind of like how he has been bashing you for the past 4 years, and you sit there like a befuddled fool and take it. Good riddance is all I can say.

Now if you can only get your two dimwit liberal daughters & liberal wife to STFU, then we can put you & your socialist NWO family in the dust bins of history and forget about you as well.

I guess GW is alone with his Christian faith. Dad does not share it, nor does mom or wife, and now daughter.

To be honest, I question how much of a "Christian" that GW Bush. He may be a liberal Christian but I have my doubts about any genuine, born again conversion. His wife & daughters all support homosexual & lesbian marriages & agenda. I suspect that GW Bush does as well, now that he is out of the WH.

With GW Bush's obsession for politically correct pandering, he refers to "the Almighty" -- What is that? The Almighty what? Buddha, Muhammad, Confuscious, God, what? Bush won't say the word "God" in public, but just his generic "Almighty", to fit all brands. GW Bush has proclaimed on several interviews that all faiths lead to heaven. Huh? What verse or verses in the Bible would support that heretical view? He is very careful to never mention the name of "Jesus" as Savior, so that he won't offend any atheists, liberals, or muslims. I don't recall any thing in GW Bush's statements where he refers to himself as a Christian. Looks like that is the legacy that his wife & daughters have as well.

Her mom is strong on anti-Biblical views. Her father is weak on defending Biblical ones.

I believe your analysis is incorrect. GW has mentioned Jesus many times. I believe you should do a search to know when.

Most of our presidents have believed in God, present one excluded, but, also realize that they are president to all Americans, and all faiths. As stated earlier, the current usurper-in-chief excluded. I believe GW used the term Almighty so he didn’t offend other faiths. He held Bible studies while in the WH, banned alcohol and attended church on a regular basis.

And, he isn’t responsible for his wife or daughter’s viewpoints. They are. Each must stand before the Lord and give an account of oneself. GW will only answer for himself, not Laura Barbara, Jenna or his parents or siblings.

He made the comment that he was a sinner himself, who needed salvation, and that was the reason he wasn’t quick to judge others sins. Some on here need to heed that advice.

We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

I could write more, but, I believe this gets my point across.

John McCain doesn’t agree with his wife and daughter on everything either. These kids go to liberal colleges and get indoctrinated. Meghan McCain went to Columbia University. Enough said.

I also believe that when GW used the term “The Almighty,” that he was referring to his Lord and Savior. Such nitpicking.

I have to wonder if those who support “gay” marriage have ever actually watched a torrid love scene between them? Or observed them on a daily basis. But, I think for most of us, we only have observed from afar, and that’s as close as i want to get to their lewd, degrading lifestyle.

Perhaps, if they actually saw what goes on between them, they’d get sickened enough to change their minds. No way are they gay - they are perverted. I watched a gay parade on the internet once - part of it anyway - and it made me sick to my stomach. I can’t imagine anyone marching in one, and then condoning that type of behavior.

Yes I do. I wish to thank you for illustrating why so very perfectly.

"Ok then I want to marry several women and my dog."

Okay... I get the dog part. But several women?! That's just plain crazy. Why would anybody want to compound their problems by several?

They can have civil unions but not the word marriage.

Insanity. When you capitulate on the former, you soon get the latter.
