I don’t understand how anybody, especially an insider like Dick Armey can consider Bill Nelson a “moderate.” I think his ADA score is over 90. He talks real folksy but he’s a radical.

‘You talk like the Rats will actually honor the agreement.’
These kind of ‘gentleman to gentleman’ agreements are ALWAYS honored in the Senate, since otherwise they would not be made, and in that case the Senate could not operate.

I care about repeal. I don’t care to hear it from a former congressman who was in a house leadership position, when the GOP spent like drunken sailors and he said or did nothing.
Get your fact straight.
To: dunblak
Dumblank, see you generally are an antagonist poster.
You need to quite hyper-ventilating long enough to have a rational understanding that the Pubbies only have 47 in the Senate and can only make a showing, but can not pass doodley squat and the dems see nobamacare as their Golden Fleese and are sure NOT going to vote for repel, not to mention to over-ride a veto. Get real or go on!

Armey wasn’t in congress during most of the Bush administration. He was squeezed out by the likes of Delay.

I have no problem with “staying the course”, but as I pointed out to dumblank, we only have 47 votes in the Semate and don’t forget the dems have spent their whole lives drooling for socialized medicine.
Does anyone actually think the dems, 2 years out from next election, will suddenly become concerned with what the majority wants?

I damn sure am no serf to them!
Where does that leave us? It leaves us to remember why we got on the Tea Party bandwagon in the first place, for the next 2 years with enough momentum to gain enough majority to over-ride even a RINO POTUS veto of real conservative Bills.

There is no such thng as a moderate Democratic Senator. Contacting these idiots is a futile exercise.Agree that there is no such thing as a "moderate" Democrat. That said, at the very least, they should be contacted, to remind them of their reelection prospects.
To: RobertClark
His math is good anyway.
What does a ‘moderate’ socialist tyrant look like, and do they carry any disease?
.
To: RobertClark
Only 4 more needed to force a vote.
Don’t forget that to override a veto they will need 2/3rds or 67 votes, not just 61.

Let’s pull together, everyone...we don’t need any negativity, but rather a positive, all together now, attitude and effort.

Contacting these idiots is a futile exercise. With that attitude nothing would ever get accomplished.

“Bill Nelson (Florida) - will face a very tough race in a state which just elected Marco Rubio.”
I call Bill Nelson's office all the time and stood in front of his office in Tampa on several occasions back during the early work on the ObamaCare legislation...to no avail. But we do it anyway.
And you betcha he will face a very tough race in 2012! Don't be surprised if he decides not to run cause he knows he is on the way out! Florida will have a new Conservative Senator in 2012 to work along side Senator Rubio! :)

Casy’s no moderate. He ran on the pro life plank and turns around and votes for this health care bill which will most likely expand publicly funded abortions. He could have cared less about the Stupak amendment. He’s a lefty running on his Daddy’s name.

"Dont forget that to override a veto they will need 2/3rds or 67 votes, not just 61."
It would be a minor miracle if we got 60 votes to break a fillibuster. Don't even talk about 67 votes. That's not going to happen. Our best opportunity is to keep attaching this bill to everything, fillibuster any other bills that will come before the Senate until this is voted on and force Harry Reid to let it come to the floor for an up or down vote. Then get at least 4 of these Rats that are up for re-election to vote for it's repeal.
Sure, Obama will veto it, but lets get him on record vetoing it. Let's get all these Rats on record with their vote of the repeal. In 2012, we'll solve this at the ballot box and their no votes and vetos will be in many commercials.

Good morning Mr. RobertClark :)
Do you think they are awake in D.C. yet? ; }
I hope they heard phones ringing in their dreams, and wake to find that they are ringing STILL!
May God give us strength.

I would imagine that they are attempting to ignore the constant ringing. We all need strength and must continue to push - if not us, whom?
