His family and quite a few folks believe he was murdered, maybe that would be a better choice of words.
I’m surprised this general didn’t even bother to correct her at all. Having done 10 years myself, I don’t think I would of let that slide, I might of tripped and my hand could of fallen on the back of her neck as I was putting it out to break my fall, and oh snap, the cerebeal column was just separated from the spine, oops.
Exactly right! Remember that well, my wife and I laugh about the “gas wars” when the price of a gallon of gas would hit 19-20c (down from your 24c) to draw folks in.
I worked at a Texaco for awhile but it was after they quit issuing the uniform, could have used those great uniforms, it would have saved a lot of wear and tear on my own. Used real chamois too...
But we did issue S&H Green Stamps, remember those? Gotcha! We could start a whole thread on this stuff.
