Shafik Gabr was one of President Obama’s greatest fans eighteen months ago. Today, as Mr. Obama presses for the immediate resignation of President Hosni Mubarak, not so much. “The United States is siding with chaos if they force Mubarak out now,” says Gabr.
Gabr is the Chairman of the Artoc Group for Investment and Development, one of Egypt’s leading businesses. He has spent a good portion of his adult life trying to educate Americans about his country -- its peace pact with Israel and record on women’s rights, for instance, that distinguish Egypt from many of its neighbors.

I think the media is cranking up hysteria against Murbarak in an effort to get the US military in there to remove him from power like they did with Serbia.
They were comparing him to the Serbs on Fox News. They are seriously bent out of joint that who they believe to be Murbarak supporters, are attacking American journalists who “have a right” to be over there covering the Muslim Brotherhood’s revolution.
The American elite are stupidly embarassing these days. They can not analyze data and come up with an indpendent analysis. They have been struck united in stupid for some reason.
I agree that the Egyptian Army is key in this. ...also that most of the Egytians are Sunni rather than Shite Muslims. The are more educated than most in the ME as well. So given these there might not be a MB take over.....just now. But this does not mean they are not a threat none the less.

Ex-Cia Agents and such are no different than we are with the companies we work for....we try to correct while there without loosing our jobs, but when we’re done we are free to call it what it is to those we care to share it with.
