Married GOP Congressman Sent Sexy Pictures to Craigslist Babe
Gawker ^

"Rep. Christopher Lee is a married Republican congressman serving the 26th District of New York. But when he trolls Craigslist's "Women Seeking Men" forum, he's Christopher Lee, "divorced" "lobbyist" and "fit fun classy guy." One object of his flirtation told us her story."

"That afternoon, a man named Christopher Lee replied. He used a Gmail account that Rep. Christopher Lee has since confirmed to be his own. (It's the same Gmail account that was associated with Lee's personal Facebook account, which the Congressman deleted when we started asking questions.)

By email, Lee identified himself as a 39-year-old divorced lobbyist and sent a PG picture to the woman from the ad. (In fact, Lee is married and has one son with his wife. He's also 46.)"

Is anyone really that stupid? Deny, deny, deny until it’s proven. Then say “Someone hacked my computer and posted that crap. I don’t even know how to put stuff on Greg’s list. And who the hell is Greg and why does he have a list?”

He’s an upstate New York guy. Votes right on all the issues. His district borders Louise (deem it) Slaughter and Eric (tickle the boys) Massa. What is it with this area?

Married GOP Congressman Sent Sexy Pictures to Craigslist Babe

I always love how the MSM is “shocked, shocked I tell you” to discover
a Republic/conservative actually has a libido.

If he was a Democrat/Socialist, this report would increase his “street cred”.

(Myself, I disapprove of his actions as he is, apparently, still married.
And IMHO, he should have resigned and avoid the public eye for a while.
But that’s just me. I’m a old school sort and can’t evolve out of it.)

Christopher Lee

Heh, isn’t that the name of venerable British actor that appeared in
a number of creepy British horror films?

If so, “it’s a small world after all”.

Dang it, you beat me by far in making “The Christopher Lee” actor v. politician
connection.
That’ll teach me to at least scan the thread before posting!!!

Yep, exactly. I would bet any amount that this is a cover for something a little bigger. People in elected office get caught cheating all of the time, sometimes they are even reelected. There is more to this story.

“Don’t forget how Obama got his first seat in congress.....”

Good point. I forgot that Barry’s primary skill was digging up dirt. In the case of his first seat it’s my recollection that he was way out of line in releasing sealed divorce documents.

Sigh...

“If you can’t abide by your marriage vows and must have action on the side then find a discreet hooker to take care of you”.

Abide? How about this... if you have no intention of committing to your marriage vows that you pledged before God, family and friends then don’t get married. The last thing he should have done was go with a prostitute and bring some disease home to his wife/the mother of his child. With all the time spent on Craigslist and looking for “strange”, he could have gotten some counseling and been with his wife. Just a thought.

Is it a pre-requisite that they be absolute scumbags to run for office?

Only a narcissistic sociopath loves the idea of power enough to put up with the MSM investigations of his or her personal life.

There are very few of these politicians who won't disappoint you when resolute and ethical action is called for.

It is hardly uncommon for married men desiring affairs to claim they are divorced; they are more likely to get dates than those who list themselves as “married” or “separated”.

Wiki says:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Lee_%28politician%29

In 2008, Lee announced his candidacy for the United States House of Representatives in New York’s 26th congressional district as a Republican.[13] He comes from a political family, as his sister ran regional affairs in western New York for former Governor George Pataki, and his father was the finance chairman on several campaigns for former Congressman Jack Quinn.[14] Lee’s candidacy was endorsed by the incumbent representative Thomas M. Reynolds.[15][16][17] He has the support of all seven Republican county chairmen in the district, who met in May 2008 to announce Lee would hold the party’s official endorsement.[18][19] As a successful businessman, his candidacy garnered the support of state GOP Chairman Stephen Minarik in an election year where the Republican party was looking for candidates who self-finance.[20][21] He was re-elected in 2010.
