USA TO REBUKE ISRAEL AT UN (Drudge Headline)

The U.S. informed Arab governments Friday that it will support a U.N. Security Council statement reaffirming that the 15-nation body "does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity," a move aimed at avoiding the prospect of having to veto a stronger Palestinian resolution calling the settlements illegal.

But the Palestinian's rejected the American offer following a meeting late Wednesdy of Arab representativs and said it is planning to press for a vote on its resolution Friday, according officials familar with the issue. The decision to reject the American offer raised the prospects that the Obama adminstration may cast its first ever veto in the U.N. Security Council.

I stand, and will stand, with Israel.

This latest UN resolution is based upon the idea that settlement activity is illegal. However, the idea that these settlements are illegal is false. It is a misreading of Resolution 242 made by the UN Security Council On November 22, 1967. In dispute is the wording that says, “inadmissability of the acquisition of territory by war” and, “withdrawal of Israeli armed forces from territories occupied in the recent conflict.” The resolution did not say Israel must withdraw from “all the” territories occupied after the Six-Day war. The resolution never specified how much territory had to be given up.

This dispute has been going on for 43 years. The effort has made the world think that Israel can give up land for peace. However, the facts are that there will be no land and no peace and ultimately, no Israel.

One guy was saying that he thought the New Madrid fault would blow and split the U.S. right down the middle. Of course, we hope not, but Obama is as adamant against Israel as you can get. He says one thing, then his actions show the opposite, with a big old smile on his face - grinning ear to ear.

The U.S. informed Arab governments Friday that it will support a U.N. Security Council statement reaffirming that the 15-nation body "does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity,"

Pathetic, not to mention deadly dangerous to Israeli women and children who will be targets of terrorists emboldened by Obama's treachery against Israel.

I believe that Obama is a Moslem at heart if not in public who is no friend of Israel or Jewish people in general. Furthermore, I don't believe that his obvious bias against Israel represents the views of the majority of Americans regarding Israel and the middle east's never ending war between terrorists and legitimate Israeli settlements in the land the Israelis own by UN mandate, and far more important, by virtue of God's unbreakable promise.

Genesis 15:18, On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying,

"To your descendants I have given this land, From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates":

Nuff said, and one day Israel will possess every square foot of that promised land. The one true God Himself is the One who promised them that land, and neither Obama, Muslim terrorists, nor the demonic spiritual entity who they worship as Allah can change that.

Obadiah1:1 The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.

:2 Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.

:3 The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

:4 Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.

:5 If thieves came to thee, if robbers by night, (how art thou cut off!) would they not have stolen till they had enough? if the grapegatherers came to thee, would they not leave some grapes?

:6 How are the things of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things sought up!

:7 All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him.

:8 Shall I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?

:9 And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.

:10 For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.

:11 In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.

:12 But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.

:13 Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;

:14 Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.

:15 For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

:16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.

:17 But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

:18 And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.

:19 And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.

:20 And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south.

:21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.

Not sure precisely what you’re quibbling with God’s Word about. And therefore I don’t know precisely what you’re annoyed with me about in my affirmation of that posting of Scripture.

I was applauding those verses for several reasons.

FOREMOST—THEY ARE A TESTIMONY TO GOD’S NATURE AND GOD’S PRIORITIES. It is only in at least a minimal understanding of God and His priorities that individuals have any hope at all. We must know that He Is and Is a rewarder of those who seek HIM.

Those who LOVE WHAT AND WHO GOD LOVES AND HATE WHAT GOD HATES are wise.

THE SCRIPTURES ARE GOD’S WORD.

GOD’S WORD IS ALWAYS REDEMPTIVE ACCORDING TO

HIS PRIORITIES.

Man is crazy to go against GOD OR HIS PRIORITIES.

GOD IS

BY DEFINITION

THE BOSS!

I don’t understand everything about HIS priorities.

I don’t understand everythinga bout HIS economy.

Sometimes HE seems to spend people like water.

Yet, HE knows every hair on every head and when a sparrow falls.

HE has already judged Esau and pronounced sentence.

IT IS HIS DOING. HE WILL CARRY IT OUT.

Individuals in Esau’s family CAN STILL SEEK HIM AND FIND HIM AND HIS REDEMPTION through Christ’s Blood.

HE DECREES that ALL who earestly truly SEEK HIM SHALL find HIM.

However, my main point was that the Scriptures declare very emphatically God’s priority for the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Such a clear declaration in Scripture about this era affords folks the chance to realize that GOD REALLY HAS KNOWN the end from the beginning . . .

AND

as crazy as this world is rapidly becoming more and more—GOD IS STILL WORKING HIS WILL OUT and WILL CONTINUE to emphatically achieve HIS GOALS.

HE raised up Israel partly as a promise to HIS BUDDY FOR ETERNITY—Abraham

AND LARGELY TO DISPLAY HIS GLORY WITH ISRAEL AS THE OBJECT LESSON in positive and negative respects.

And, consequently . . . also all those who would dare to touch Israel in blessings or curses—HAVE AND WILL RECEIVE GOD’S RESPONSES accordingly.

HE IS

THE BOSS.

BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD.
BLESSED BE THE WORD OF THE LORD.
BLESSED BE THE WAYS OF THE LORD.

BLESSED BE THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB.

Maybe Alamo-Girl can explain it better than I can.

Those Scriptures were a most welcome reminder that GOD IS STILL IN CHARGE

HE WILL BRING HIS WILL ABOUT.

WE ARE ON THE WINNING SIDE WHEN WE WALK WITH HIM.

THERE’S INFINITE HOPE IN THAT.

Even the children of Esau could find and take hope in Christ. And many are as He presents Himself to them in dreams and visions supernaturally.
