Looks like it’s Jim DeMint vs. Elmo.

To fight back against Republican plans to cut funds for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Democrats and other supporters have been enlisting the help of the lovable creatures from Sesame Street and other popular public broadcasting programs. Today, Arthur the aardvark appeared at a Capitol Hill press conference.

This idiot doesn’t understand the difference between Sesame Street and the Muppets. The Muppets never appeared on Sesame Street. This includes Kermit, Miss Piggy, dr. swinepok, Burt, Ernie and the Swedish Chef.

Meanwhile, Big Bird, Snuffy and the Cookie Monster never appeared on the Muppets.

You’d expect a WSJ reporter to get the basics right. Otherwise we’ll have Mickey Mouse in a Roadrunner cartoon.

Bill Moyers became rich on the public purse. Interesting to note that he left the Johnson camp because even they found him insufferable.

I don’t watch television myself, but my wife does, and agrees with you, however it’s NOT the business of the Federal Government to be taxing, and spending on such as the Corporation for Public Broadcasting especially as it is used for political purposes.

If one allegedly good thing that is not of sound Constitutional policy is allowed to stand, then the Left will have been gifted their way.

The American success story is based in the Constitution, not in the ideology of the Leftists, the Socialist Democrats.
