Senator: Wis. Dems to stay away for days, weeks
Ahh come one! Try months and years!
They should have no jobs when they return. They should be docked in their paychecks and give up their pension benefits, medical benefits; etc.
So presumably the teachers stay on strike, too, until this thing is settled?
Great. The kids are the losers, once again.
While they’re away, initiate a recall of them.
whos paying for all this?
Ahh come on! Try months and years!
whos paying for all this?
Can the taxpayers/voters of Wisconsin throw these RATs out of office now via recall petititions?
Can the governor cancel their state credit cards?
Fine. Declare their Seats vacant. If the Wisconsin Governor has the power to appoint replacements, do so. If he doesn’t, call for special elections.
*** WEASELS!!!!!!!! ***
Freeze their pay and arrest them on sight when they return. Impeach and replace them.
At some point, aren’t they breaking their oath of office? Could the Governor remove them from office for non-performance? Could he order a special election?
Are you kidding? The students in Wisconsin weren’t getting an education worth a darn from these loon Liberals! They were being brainwashed into becoming the future Liberals of Wisconsin.
Yes and alot more.
I wish the Democrats in Sacramento would stay away for years.
Why aren’t they personally liable for the expenses wasted during this legislative session?
Stop paying them ,shut off their gov’t credit cards. Also pass any legislation they can without them there.
Big talk - those guys are so cheap, there ain’t no way they will pay to stay away. The only way they would do it is if one of the unions was paying their expenses. If that comes out, they are politically dead. Ain’t no way they would be able to charge off their “travel” to the State of Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Freepers/Tea Party people need to find out what it takes to have an elective office legally determined to be abandoned, and then when the conditions are met by those legislators, get it done - and put someone on the ballot for a special election.
I seem to remember they did this in TX a while ago also.
Wouldn’t this be a good time to bring up things that don’t require a quorum? There must be some stuff that this is a good time for. There are no dems to vote against it.
“I wish the Democrats in Sacramento would stay away for years.”
We should be so lucky...
They should all be impeached.
OK Gov, let the layoffs begin.
Your mandate is to cut spending to balance the budget.
About 5000 teachers should be just about right.
No problem, the Wisconsin legislature is empowered with the ability to compel attendance and issue warrants for their arrest. As for the teachers, if I were the governor I would tell them that if they missed work on Monday and did not have a doctor’s note or valid excuse, they would be fired for conducting an illegal strike and would lose all their benefits.
just count all absent votes as yeas!
That’s simple enough. Dem’s a pussies!
New elections should be called if those people are not willing to serve. The people have spoken and the free system of government we have must be enforced. These people are renegades and this must not be allowed to stand.
All these vacation spots in Wisconsin business will do awesome.
The Brewers baseball team will get killed on ticket sales.
I dont think the kids really lose
That’s clear dereliction of duty.
The governor therefore should fire them all and hold new elections in those districts.
Until the elections the remaining republican legislators should be deemed a quorem and then pass the bill.
If these people want to play hardball, then the governor and the remaining republican legislators should play hardball back. Those are the consequences. The dems made that bed and now let them lie in it.
They need to fire all of them and put all jobs up for hire. you will have hundreds of thousands flooding the state begging for those jobs.
SCREW these leeches!
I think they’ll wind up arresting at least one of them found in state.
Also... who is there to object?
In the interest of time I ask for unamimous content to wave the quorum requirements.... hearing no objections the motion passes!
They need on representitive Dem, so one pubbie holds his nose and changes his party to Dem. Then the government business moves on.
...”The kids are the losers, once again”...
I am not so sure the kids will be losers to be away from teachers with values like those. You do not have to have a teaching certificate to know how to teach..Parents can put their heads together, share and think “out of the box” to find ways to educate their kids. This education system stinks anyway and should be replaced along with the Teacher’s Union.
100% correct. Excellent solution. Worth repeating.
What if one of them has a family emergency at home and needs to go back to Wisconsin...
“The students in Wisconsin werent getting an education worth a darn “
Inform the kids and parents that they will have to make up the days missed because of this liberal/illegal action, during their Summer vacation.
I see this as a plan from Our community organizer and chief. They are just buying time for the Rat party to bus in even more union, scum sucking pig vomit, to wreck havoc in WI.
This proposal has been posted on almost every thread, and every time is corrected: They need 20 senators to hold a vote. There are only 19 Republicans.
Bwahahaha... Since they’re not doing official business they should absolutely have their credit cards shut down and salary held. Would love to see their fellow rats flushing their personal money down the toilet to feed and clothe these clowns.
Oh yeah, give them a taste of private sector life- you abandon a job for a few days... you get fired!
If I were the Governor, I would have my staff scouring the laws on the books concerning law makers leaving their jobs.
Since the rats have never said when they plan to return, they should be deemed PERMANENTLY resigning their seats.
Give them one week to return including time they quit serving.
We need to do what Thatcher did in the 80’s, she stood her ground and busted the unions heads in Britain and saved the UK.
