Link only - Rage Against The Machine Guitarist Tom Morello Coming To Wisconsin: 'Madison Is The Next Cairo'
“Madison is the next Cairo.”
Not if we can break the collective’s pyramid scheme.
I just listened to a montage of some of his solos. Didn’t impress me! Sorry!
Love the NUGE.
Hopefully, this will work out as well for Tom as Zac De La Roca’s excursion into Chiapas. The locals laughed him out of Mexico.
Never heard of him. Imagine he needs the publicity.
Why doesn’t he have his daddy’s name?
Another Ivy league “educated” black man. How quaint!
Our time is running out!
I lol’d! Maybe Tommy will model their first album cover.
That’s protest.
Yeah...I can’t stand their politics though I do like a few of their songs. They’re hardcore leftists. Funny how they protest against a controlling government with the song “Killing in the Name of”., which is exactly what we have under the Obama Nanny State regime with Michelle, Cass Sunstein etc. I think about Obama when I hear the chorus “F**k you I won’t do what you tell me!”, but these idiots probably love Obama.
So that means there will be gang rapes and threats to, and assaults of, Americans?
That’s a snappy black uniform with epaulets and red piping.
Now, where have I seen those before?
NIN’s “Head Like A Hole” is another one that rises unbidden from memory.

It has to start somewhere.
It has to start sometime.
What better place than here?
What better time than now?
F___ you, I won't do what you tell me!
We will be victorious! LOL
(’Hysteria’ is my favorite, followed by ‘Our Time is Running Out’ and ‘Undisclosed Desires.’ I only have 2 of their CDs so far—I’m a relatively new fan)
I have that album. You have to remember that it came out in 1992, when Bush 41 was President. The band members all came of age during the Reagan/Bush years, so that’s what they were “raging” against. Of course, in 2000, Zach de la Rocha was speaking out against both parties, basically supporting Nader. Their video for “Sleep Now In The Fire” also features an appearance by none other than Michael Moore, who we all know was also a hardcore Nader supporter in 2000.
I was listening to APC's "Pet" the other day. From one verse:
I'll be the one to protect you from Your enemies and all your demons
I'll be the one to protect you from A will to survive and a voice of reason
I'll be the one to protect you from Your enemies and your choices son They're one in the same I must isolate you Isolate and save you from yourself
I wonder if they ever realize how perfectly they're describing everything they stand for.
