Madison — Capitol Police Chief Charles Tubbs said Sunday night that protesters can remain inside the state Capitol.

"The people who are in the building will be allowed to stay,"Tubbs said. "There will be no arrests unless people violate the law."

Several hundred protesters refused to leave the building when the doors were shut at 4 p.m. as authorities attempted to get the state Capitol back to normal working hours.

I just called the Madison PD and said, "Please arrest the bums in the Capitol and get your Senators out of my state!"

And hung up.

Tubbs is black and as such, there is a 95% probability that he voted for and supports Obama.

If it were me, I’d would consider those within the building barricaded subjects and treat them accordingly. Shut off the power, heat, water, lights... shut it all down.

Unionized police are apparently not going to remove unionized protestors. Tomorrow morning, it is time for the governor of Wisconsin to call out the national guard.

I agree... what the hell is going on in Madison?! Sounds like complete anarchy...

Can someone please give out the phone and email info for Sheriff Tubbs?

I'm off work tomorrow and would love to call them all day long and hopefully crash their systems.

He is black radical communist, fits in well with the unions.

There should also be sanitation laws regarding mattresses and food one would think, not to mention the potential liabilities the state is subjecting themselves to. I can think of so many scenarios which would end up in a lawsuit against the State. At the very least they should make them all sign some sort of release agreement if they are going to stay there. In addition, is this building not now functionally a motel/hotel and subject to all the taxes and regulations of such a facility? One could not simply open their home up to thousands of strangers and let them stay there night after night could they? At some point it is a “business” and is competing with other “Inns”.

Wow - I married a Kansas girl.

I suspect there are a lot of students who are getting a pass from their commie profs, esp. if they are in the “journalism” school or some branch of humanities. I’ll bet some are even getting credit. There may be older profs waxing teary-eyed about the good ol’ days protesting Viet Nam. Heck, the faculty is probably proud to provide a boatload of useful idiots for the unions.

Remember, the Tea Party plays by the rules. We are not thugs or misaligned youth who want to cause trouble. By doing this, we help our cause.

Here's what the underpaid teachers are protesting about:

Teacher salaries in the Port Washington-Saukville School District currently range from $36,083 to $82,468 based on seniority and degrees earned, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The average salary is $64,065, the second highest in Ozaukee County after the Mequon-Thiensville School District, where teachers have taught in the district for an average of 15.4 years. The average local teacher experience in the Port Washington-Saukville School District is 14.2 years. The average value of fringe benefits for teachers in the Port Washington-Saukville School District is $28,191, according to the DPI. Teachers do not contribute to their pensions, which will cost the district about $1.6 million this year, Director of Business Services Jim Froemming said.

$92,000 for the average teacher in this district

They let the homeless stay in the capital overnight and the chief of police defies the governors orders to clear the place, and his offspring are armed felons.

Almost as nutty as DC

Selective Law Enforcement is not a good thing... me thinks.

The "give 'em an inch" proverb is aptly relevant here. Anyway, they WANT to get arrested, so that the governor will look like a meanie.

I know most everybody here wants to see some butt kicked, but that’s exactly what the leftist mob leaders want also. They’re desperate to have this thing turn violent in a way that they can blame Walker for.

They’re desperate to obtain violent images of “peaceful protesters” being ejected from the “People’s House” by “fascist” troopers directed by Scott Walker.

Walker’s clearly too smart for that. So right now, the whole deal is a waiting game and the most patient side will be the winner. And I’m sure you all can guess that leftists are not particularly patient people, most of them coming from one of the “me” generations and expecting instant gratification in all things all the time.

The longer this goes on, the more likely the leftist will either get bored and go home, or their leaders will spark them to violence. In either case, we win. We lose if we’re the ones to initiate the butt kicking.

“$92,000 for the average teacher in this district”

The compensation level is only for 9 months. It is well over 6 figures pro rated for 12 months.

Tubbs is the Sheriff Clarence Dubnik of Wisconsin. A socialist-supporting LEO.

Tubbs, appropiately enough, looks like he hasn't missed too many meals.
