Morality Is Not Hate

This week, U.S. Attorney General Holder announced Obama’s decision not to uphold the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which was passed by a bipartisan overwhelming majority and signed by Bill Clinton in 1996. Significantly, the Attorney General described anti-sodomy beliefs as “animus,” which means “vehement emnity,” “hatred” or “ill will.”

This echoes Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s anti-Christian view, stated in a Supreme Court decision upholding the ejection a Christian legal group for not allowing open homosexuals in leadership positions, that “Condemnation of same-sex intimacy is, in fact, a condemnation of gay people,” and “Our (Supreme Court) decisions decline to distinguish between status and conduct.” (By this reasoning, if you don’t support gluttony, you “condemn” overweight people.)

The ACLU has hailed the Obama Administration’s decision as “the tipping point in the gay rights movement.” Indeed, it may be. It is certainly yet another turn toward moral insanity, as the Fathers and Mothers of the Church predicted, when the world calls evil “good” and good “evil.”

(Interestingly, the gay agenda hypocritically says what two consenting adults do in private is no one’s business, and yet they are seeking public approval for their perverted activity, going after the social status of “marriage.”)

...hate?.... oh, c’mon.... its discrimination.... the ability to discriminate right from wrong, ad what is good for society in general.

These things were thought of LONG ago and denied by philosophers and lawmakers over the years for many reasons. There is nothing new ~under the sun~ about this excepting the numbers are growing and populations are larger.

I hate to think that the homos are that much smarter than a couple of thousand years of thinkers....

Morality is NOT hate. Good NOT bad, truth is NOT lies, honesty is NOT weakness! But in today’s world, where a mighty spiritual war rages, Satan projects his own intent onto anything good and righteous. This is a war between God and Satan, make no mistake! And the evil one has been clever beyond belief to put the people to sleep! The Church must begin to expound this loud and clearly to wake them up. Read Bill Wiese’s “23 Minutes in Hell”. Then use it to bring in the flock, for that is the great commission God has given His people, and the time is growing short!

We certainly know by now that this administration hasn’t the slightest interest in the rule of law.

Frankly, I don’t care who the reps run, I WILL vote in ‘12.

Remember when “discriminating” was such a noble term? As in “discriminating taste,” “discriminating judgment”, etc. It was proper and beneficial to use this God-given organ of discrimination. It saved many a life.

I don’t shrink from being labeled with this term at all. Only lobotomized drones think there is anything wrong with discrimination.

I always knew Michelle Obama was a vicious hater.

Exactly. We need to reclaim our language from the leftists who are trying to redefine words so we literally can’t talk about certain concepts. To discriminate only means to choose between options. The left has (fairly successfully) transmogrified “discrimination” to be equivalent to “bigotry.” We need to say, “Yes, I’m discriminating. I discriminate between right and wrong, between good and evil, between liberty and servitude. What, you don’t?”

To discriminate only means to choose between options.

More specifically, it means to choose between options that are either desirable and undesirable.

And history, science, medicine, and religion overwhelmingly identify homosexuality as undesirable for a society's well-being.

What’s interesting is the term “marriage” has long been bracketed with a set of qualifications that must be met before persons were to engage in the institution. Of those requirements, one male and one female was a standard that must have been met.

Now, would it behoove the Justice Department if persons who do not meet the criteria for practicing law or being a Judge, suddenly demand their places upon the bench and in the courts because to deny them their “right”, just because the standards they do not meet are “exclusive” should therefore be considered “discriminatory” and waived?

If the Justice department is hell-bent (literally) to redefine marriage and the sanctity of the title means no more to them than it appears by their intent, then the terms “judge”, “lawyer”, and “justice” should be subject to abstract redefinition into all inclusives term as well.

Maybe goring the justice department’s ox is just the thing needed to rid the US of the putrid ilk that calls itself US judges and attorneys.

Only lobotomized drones think there is anything wrong with discrimination.

Or profiling.

When a so called "prejudice" is based on reality, it's not a prejudice, it's a fact

“the Attorney General described anti-sodomy beliefs as “animus,” which means “vehement emnity,” “hatred” or “ill will.”

Seriously? The AG thinks that if you are against homosexual marriage that you posses vehement emnity, hatred or ill will toward homosexuals who seek to be married?

Just. Wow.

Our country has the WORST LEADERSHIP EVER.
