““I suppose even a RINO is better than a RAT.”
“See Scott Brown.”

Well, Scott may not be close to being ideal, but he’s a lot better than Teddy Kennedy.

He the biggest thing Sen Scott Brown counts as one more to pry that gavel out of idiot Reid’s hand! The time to get the RINO’s is in the primary. After that we have to suffer with them.

I don’t think this is a possible pickup for the Republicans. I mean, c’mon. Hawaii? May as well be D.C.

With less seniority, which may be big.

S/He may be a RINO, but I think Djou or Lingle should run. I’d much rather the seat go Republican to a center-left person than to a communist/socialist like Abercrombie.

Putting the flame retardant suit on.

Scott Brown is way better than Coakley would have been.

See Scott Brown
Yes, I know, but compared to who he ran against, which would you rather have? And he is a step up from the swimmer.

Self described “native” Hawaiians are as ignorant and racist as most black folks when it comes the the so-called “white” Republican Party—plus they are damned Leftists.
A GOP Representative may sometimes win in districts with large American populations but most of the state is of Polynesian descent so a state wide win is impossible unless we can run a conservative of the same Pacific heritage.
The large minority Japanese leanings I'm not sure of.

Oops,I got some figures wrong.
I mistakenly lumped those of Filipino descent with the Polynesians-thus creating a false majority. It changes the post to some degree but "native" Hawaiian xenophobia is well known.

Lingle is probably (definitely) our only chance, RINO though she is.

Aloha Barry is likely to win the state huge again, big coatails to overcome. Lingle is popular enough to have a shot.

Oh! I’ve never watched the show, so I have no points of reference for it.

Thanks for the info.

They should just let Inouye vote twice, and people in HI would live happily ever after.

Cross out “Akaka” and replace with “Obama” “Soetoro” or “Dunham”.

“Yes, I know, but compared to who he ran against, which would you rather have? And he is a step up from the swimmer.”

“Scott Brown is way better than Coakley would have been.”

Not to rehash Scott Brown, but when you look at how he's voted on the biggest issues (DADT, START, Frank/Dodd Banking), he's different from Coakley how?

The contents of an unflushed toilet are a step up from any Kennedy, but Brown has been a big disappointment, especially on the big, far reaching issues that I listed.

Like I wrote before, one broken arm is better than two, but you still have a problem.
