Jim went to the VA hospital this afternoon for his scheduled checkup.

They admitted him. His remaining leg is not looking good. Three surgeons will confer tomorrow morning
on whether and when his right leg will be amputated.

When I talked to him this afternoon, he consented to me asking for prayers regarding this latest health issue.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We pray that you guide Jim’s medical staff and strengthen them with the Holy Spirit in their efforts to heal him of his infirmities.
We pray that you bless Jim and his loved ones oh Lord in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Leave that to his doctors who have actually examined the leg. Please say a prayer or wish him well instead.

PS Thanks for including the medical term fasciotomy. Hopefully the doctors know of this method as a possible solution as I had suggested it without knowing the medical term.

It worked for the person described by the poster I was responding to, and the person he was referencing did it himself. (I don't recommend that, but again it's possible that Jim would have done it--or had a doctor do it--if he knew about it and it was a viable solution.)
