According to TMZ - he’ll be suing for the 8 cancelled shows at $2million per. ($16 million)!!!!

His character can be easily written off; several FReepers have offered great replacement storylines.

The true ensemble characters were Evelyn, Berta, Alan, Herb and Jake. Charlie simply had to provide the straight lines which required a few facial expressions and some timing.

The writers create the show. Sheen’s success was by proxy.

I still think this all was some sort of stunt on Sheen's part to get out of his contract with a major buyout from the network. Some combination of bad advice and hubris. Probably will backfire on him.

I would think the toughest challenge would be to keep the crew and writers from really taking out Charlie. Just think of the story lines they could write up that would keep him out permanently and exact their revenge.
