After learning the state Senate passed the collective bargaining portion of the budget repair bill without the 14 missing Democrats, the Capitol erupted Wednesday evening as protesters flooded the closed building against a court order.
The hearings where the Senate passed the bill lasted less than a half hour, prompting the building to officially close around 6:30 p.m. Protesters outside chanted in frustration, “Let us in.”
...DOA spokesperson Tim Donovan said law enforcement officers attempted to prevent forced entry from happening but were unable to because of the large volume of people.
“We’re disappointed that people who have been very cooperative over the past three weeks were not cooperative tonight and entered the building against the court order,” Donovan said.
Madison resident John Severa held a State Street entrance door open for an hour and said people inside the building rushed to the entrance to push the doors open for protesters outside.
Police responded shortly after to try to barricade the door, but their attempts were unsuccessful. After several minutes, police retreated while protesters cheered.
“I know police don’t want to be violent,” Madison resident Josh Olson said. “But tonight [the police were violent], and it was upsetting and disturbing.”
Olson said the decision to open the doors had very little coordination. He also claimed he was punched in the shoulder by an officer aggressively trying to stop the rush of people.
“Once people started coming in there was nothing police could do,” Olson said. “This is our house.”
Donovan said protesters also entered the building by jumping through windows. He said he was unsure if windows were broken because of conflicting information from several credible sources...........

Jail the greedy scofflaws. They’re anti-democracy anyway. Imagine, a union to blackmail taxpayers into funding greedy public servant damands? I don’t think so. It’s time to rescind all laws authorizing public employee unions. They are an affront, an insult to the notion of public service. They’re more like a lawless gang of robbers.

This corporate fascist Walker has been caught telling lies time and time again, and with another week has broken yet more laws in his assault against America’s democracy. The only lawless gang of robbers involved are the corporate fascists who realize the public is increasingly growing wise to their true intent, and are now desperately grabbing for power before they are all fully exposed. If by “greedy public servant” you mean firefighters, 9-11 first responders, school teachers, and police, then you have taken on an un-winnable political battle that is clearly against the public sentiment by a wide margin.

They said it was about the budget. The media fell for their lies. Now their lies have been exposed. Will the media now call the governor and his stooges liars? If they don’t, they’re hopelessly naive and incompetent.
This governor, like so many other republican governors are cutting spending on education, the mentally ill, housing for the poor and just about everything that government can do to help people in need. Then they’re giving that money to businesses and rich people. If you can find the morality in what they’re doing, you’ve been watching too much fox news.
If there’s ONE moral republican left in Wisconsin, let him prove it by denouncing what his party has done.
Finally, the people must not allow the criminals in the House to enter the building and pretend to do the people’s business, when we all know they’re working for the Koch brothers.
Government of, by and for the Koch brothers shall perish.

Actually that is exactly what 0bama wants. He wants it to get uglier, then we will have renegade state governors, even perhaps renegade states.
Consider his now demonstrated stance on the protesters in the ME and North Africa.
What will the National Guard do? What happens when the glorious CIC places them under his control by Executive Order. Since the governors are using the National Guard against the peaceful union protesters.
They had hoped the TEA party would create the fallout, it didn’t happen.
Now, the left and 0bama’s own Organizing for America branch, are “ginning up the masses.” What useful idiots and pawns they are in their own destruction.

What is so ironic to me is that the majority of the folks protesting for “workers” rights wouldn’t know work/job if it hit em upside their empty head!
To the contrary, all leftist efforts will be used to stop the Wisconsin Assembly from meeting and passing the bill and these tactics are being tested to go national in the 2012 election to assure Marxist laws and policies to aid Obama.
