Cynically, I expect he'll be president until Fri, Jan 20, 2017.

I contend that it all hinges upon who Republicans put up as a candidate next year, not on Obama's popularity or the economy at election time. Will it be a liberal-lite RINO, or a real conservative? I'm not optimistic at this point, but the TEA Party is still a force to be dealt with. Reading liberal blogs, I know they know this - so it gives me hope.

Thanks for posting this link. This is a good first step. They need to do this every week at least, or twice a week. We are being impoverished by these outrageous gas prices imposed on us by the LEFT and by OBOZO. It’s time to break the chains of slavery and become energy self-sufficient.

Wouldn't be a good thing if several GOP House members would adopt the gas price issue as their own? Schedule weekly press conferences, using a prop (pump, sign, e.g.) they could change the prices on weekly.

Then, they could report on what the Obama administration has done to alleviate the situation that week (nothing or made it worse) and what the Republicans have proposed that would actually help people.

Make it a traveling show -- take it to talk radio and the cable news shows. Have fun with it. It couldn't help but help.
