President Bush fell as low as -30 on this index; and we were NOWHERE near the mess that we are in now...Zero should be at that level or lower.
I think they are....sign up for Speaker Boehner’s emails...he’s had “gas prices” in them...but...there’s so much out there for the MSM to concentrate on, the last thing they want to talk about is what the GOP is talking about...
How does Gallup see this??
I DO remember Carter....it was NOT like this...
Just look for.... the union label...
I overheard a conversation the other day at the gas pump. It went like this:
Pumper #1:"I wish Barack would do something about these gas prices! This is gettin' ridiculous!"
Pumper #2:"He is! Barack's tryin' but the Republicans are stopping him at every point!
Ping for your interest!
I’ve been thinking how it would have turned out if half of the United States had been hit by a record earthquake, tsunami, volcanic eruption, and multi-reactor nuclear accident all at once . . . with the community organizer in charge. I have no problem at all with a non-white leader for our country, but it’s scary to think what would happen if we got hammered like Japan with the White House occupied by someone whose only qualification was diversity. I wonder how many others had the same thoughts this weekend.
I like your idea! Think I’ll give it a try!
WE do not have the gonads to do what it takes. The demonRATS constantly made erroneous statements in regard to everything...the war, the economy, President Bush in general...and drove his ratings into the toilet for no real reason. We on the other hand, have every reason in the book to hammer the horrific policies of this regime, and we do nothing. Wouldn't want to upset the moslem squatting in the People's House as he may issue a fatwa against us.
Exhibit A:
Pelosi: Where Are the Jobs, Mr. President?
August 1, 2003
Washington, D.C. House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today on the Bureau of Labor Statistics announcement that 470,000 people abandoned their job searches in July and that 3.2 million private sector jobs have been lost since President Bush took office:
The fact is that President Bushs misguided economic policies have failed to create jobs. Since President Bush took office, the country has lost 3.2 million jobs, the worst record since President Hoover. And today we learned that in July nearly half a million people gave up looking for a job.
Job losses are taking a real toll on the financial security of American families. While Democrats are fighting for opportunity, jobs, and economic security for working families, Republicans continue to focus on helping those who need help the least.
According to todays survey, while the national unemployment rate dropped slightly, it still stands at a near record high. In addition, the unemployment rate for African Americans was still over 11 percent in July, and the unemployment rate for Hispanics was 8.2 percent in July.
It is time for President Bush and the Republicans to get to work for all Americans, not just the elite few.
FACT: 6.2% is not even close to the record highs of the Carter and Reagan years.
July 1993 unemployment = 6.90% and July 1994 = 6.10%
July 2003 unemployment = 6.20%
NOTE:
When the CURRENT unemployment rate drops .10% it is all happy days are here again and we are out of the recession and onto recovery. Never-mind the fact the rate is 3-4% higher when it dropped .10%. In 2003 it was onto the race card.
Also, we had just opened another battlefront in the WOT...following a terrorist attack on the homeland which hit the financial sector in a huge way.
No, it hasn’t been below -20 (and then only a couple times) since September 9 when he hit -24. He did hit -20 on February 22nd.
Sure he has!
Pay attention. There is much, much more! ;*)
In 2004, when President Bush’s approval rating was at 44%, all we heard was how unpoopular and what a lame duck he was. Odd we don’t hear anything like this about Obama.
Loved your title...apropos!
Hussein is a failure.
bump
Zero’s fuel rods are exposed!
Low, low the low limbo. A little lower, please.
