Analysis: What's Behind the Obama Reversal on Libya

The American reversal and sudden support for a No-Fly zone in Libya plus after Defense Secretary Robert Gates and influential portions of the American defense establishment had trashed it, requires explanation. Why was a policy that could have been extremely more effective in ousting Libyan autocrat Morman Qaddafi a few weeks ago now resurrected after Qaddafi has reasserted control over most of Libya and more importantly the oilfields?.

There is no doubt that the Obama administration will spin the familiar refrain "me no Bush " and claim that delay and "creative ambiguity" was a price that had to be paid to achieve the multilateral diplomacy that the Bush administration had scorned. More importantly, there will be Arab diplomatic cover, a cameo military role for Arab countries and Gulf checkbooks to finance the operation.

barry sold the USA military weapons being used on the rebels to his buddy Omar in 2009 !
barry secretly allowed his buddy Omar to get back his terrorist henchman who killed hundreds of US citizens over Lockerkbie.
Barry intentionally delayed his response to Libyan rebellion until his buddy OMAR had defeated these rebel !
Barry is Gaddafi’s ally and friend and not the USA and EU.

And, as with the India/Indonesia/etc. Satrap Vacation and accompanying US militarthought the guyy assets, there are a surprising number of assets out of country as he leaves.

When was the last time 0bama actually visited the house he supposedly owns in Chicago? Do the 0bamas and their children not have friends there?

Strictly a political move. He really backed himself in a corner on this one. He thought probably the daffy duck was already done for when he opened his mouth 31 days ago and said daffy must go. Daffy turned it around, and the world watched, O-boy was golfing, playing bball, and getting ready for march madness. O, got his brackets filled out, and looked up to see the world looking down on him as a weak leader, or no leader at all. So, he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Well he comes out give’s a weak Bush Saddam ultimatum for the cease fire or else, military action. Problem is it's too little too late: for 31 days he voted present and the tide changed. O just trying to save a little face since Daffy didn't go down quietly on his own.

The only dog we have in this hunt is in assisting our allies, and maybe getting some short lived appreciation from the Arab league before they go back to preaching hate America. I hope we don't end up risking our pilots, but I'm ok with drones & tomahawks bringing the rain down on Daffy.
