From what I understand, US aircraft won’t be involved. Only logistic help for France and England. Have you ever heard of the Great One ever attacking Muslims?

I don't know if Obama knows the political embarrassment that can come out of this.
It's one thing when innocence is always killed. That happens unfortunately. But who's to say that rebels, their families and villages are not going to be the innocent civilians?
Gadaffi's crazy but he hasn't been where he is now by being stupid. He would have an opportunity to take advantage of the situation or to mock Obama because of Obama's aid in killing off the rebels OR Gadaffi could force the victims to claim they are rebels hit by US bombs and be on camera begging Obma to stop the bombing.

Sarkozy needs to appear strong against the conservative LePen for domestic political purposes. This will also be an opportunity for arms merchants to try out air defense systems against French and British air assets.
