I remember the pix of the people scrambling to try to get out with the Americans. I remember the one guy hanging from the helicopter. We left those people high and dry. And killed over 50,000 of our best and brightest of that generation to boot. Some of those died because Jane Fonda passed names and information to the N. Vietnamese, while John Kerry lied to God and everybody in front of Congress, reading a speech prepared by Bobby Kennedy's speechwriter.....the 'babykiller' speech. Fox reported on their evening show (6pm Central) that it was a khadaffi plane,and the shoodown led to a celebration among the rebels.

The Rebel Military Council admitted that it was one of their own. The media were recording celebrations by people in Benghazi thinking that it was a Gaddafi MiG. They are not having much luck with their captured air assets. The Rebels lost a MiG-21 on the 17th and now this MiG-23.

Who’s flying these jets? Active duty fighter jocks who came over to their side? Reservists from the east? Civilian pilots?

Even if they’re real fighter jocks, I can see them getting beat up pretty badly. No ground control support to speak of, outnumbered, probably not even a wingman available...Amazing what men will do for freedom.
