Sorry, Obamas Not A Vegetarian
Politico ^ | March 20, 2011 | Josh Gerst

If you believe the Brazilian press, President Barack Obama and the first family made a very unusual request for their first-ever visit to this meat-loving country: they asked for a vegetarian menu.A web site covering Brazil's Congress said the president made the request. A major TV morning show said it came from First Lady Michelle Obama. Both outlets quoted a restaurateur asked to produce buffets for the Obamas, including one to be served Saturday afternoon at the Alvorada Palace in Brasilia.

Funny, Obama people say it never happened, but the foodies involved are right down to the specific dishes they are preparing. Go figure.

Considering the First Sasquatch is liable to act on any damn whim that lights up her little pea brain, I'm inclined to think it really happened-- and the White House flunkies walked it back when they realized how ridiculous it sounded--and was.

Very simple. There was pork on the menu. They couldn’t very well eat the beef and chicken and pass on the pork.

during the campaign he stopped at a famous BBQ pork joint in South Carolina and ordered chicken.

Jeez, when are people going to wake up?

Alienating, well, everyone... I've been to some Brazillian themed restaurants. Where they bring the meat to the table on a skewer and slice off as much as you want...and they just keep coming back with selection after selection until you finally say "enough!" :-) Very meat-heavy diet (at least at the restaurants), and very very good!

“But her azz says yes.” Hey, that’s no fair. People of African heritage, especially East Africa where most of our slaves came from, have a heredity for large rears. It is a biological adaptation to hot, humid jungle conditions. Excess fat goes to the rear as a starvation reserve, but leaves the rest of the body relatively unfat for cooling purposes. Of course, in this country, there is so much excess food and fat that it gets deposited all over, but first to the rear. The FLOTUS is not fat all over.

It was all pretty much to show their power. “Look, we’ll go to a meat producing country and MAKE them cook us vegetables regardless of whether or not we actually EAT them”.

Now wasn't Michelle chowing down on big hunks of tender braised short ribs at her Aspen get-away not but a couple of weeks ago?

Maybe she just got tired of lecturing Americans with her hypocrisy, and decided to try it out on some foreigners.

Lucky Brazilians.

Just for show. Probably need a vegan menu to wash down all the “pork” they had on Airforce I on the way to and from!!

Hey, I just had a Wendy’s DT burger and homecut fries (sm), $3, so don’t have lots of room to talk other than it will be the fuel for an afternoon hike!

Grin, I’m guilty too. I made some home made meatloaf and mashed potatoes for dinner last night. Leftovers for lunch. But I too am going for another (second one this weekend) hike today to work them off. Although the dog is stretched out on the floor and doesn’t look too enthusiastic... Hmm.

What makes the muskrat guard its musk?
Or the armored rhino, its horny tusk,
In the misty mist or the dusky dusk.

What makes the Hottentot so hot?
A big fat butt, that’s what.

Yeah you’re right: our bigfoot First Lady is a frustrated marathon runner, like those barefoot guys from her husband’s home country.

They needed a respite from the ribs, hot dogs, and burgers they’ve been binging on.

Excess fat goes to the rear as a starvation reserve, but leaves the rest of the body relatively unfat for cooling purposes.

So the higher fat concentration in the rear results in less cooling of the rear.

Basically you're saying Michelle's butt is hot.

I would believe a Texas snake oil salesman over the Obama’s.
MO’s fat behind is prolly on a diet of veggies and lobster.

Can’t recall where I saw it, but read that Moo was being fed a cubed soy dish as she asked for vegetarian food. It didn’t say anything about Obummer’s food.

Perhaps he said vegetarian as there’s no word for “Halal” in Portuguese.
