Donald Trump has hinted recently that he wants to make a future bid for the White House. The "Celebrity Apprentice" star appeared on "The View" Wednesday and got into a heated spat with the lovely ladies (sans conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck) when the subject turned to politics.
After Joy Behar asked Trump if he was 'a birther,' Trump replied, "Why doesn't he show his birth certificate?"

Well considering the fact his father was a British subject that alone makes him ineligible.
This is where I have a problem with all who say his birth certificate does not matter. If in fact Barack Obama senior is the father then by the constitution Jr is ineligible.
The Donald (or his Lawyers) wouldn’t ask a question unless they already know the answer.
That’s exactly what I think. He’s found a way to provoke a bunch of people into worrying about something which if necessary he can prove wrong, but in the meantime he deflects people into a blind alley.You make a good point, and you articulate it well, and it's absolutely true that there are many other solid issues to go after Obama on.With all the blatant corruption in this administration, the fact that people still burn time over the birth certificate boggles my mind. The bum is suggesting Gorelick for FBI chief when she’s so damned corrupt and incompetent that it should boggle everyone’s mind, and yet we still hear about a birth certificate. I’m reasonably certain they are not going to be tripped up by something that simple. It’s way too easy a dodge.
However, the fact remains that it's not JUST the birth certificate. It's all the school records. Why are they all locked up? What is he hiding?
The fact that almost everything is hidden and he gets away with it is a travesty, but again, I think the corruption directly in front of our faces should be more than enough to keep us busy.
The matters of his background were things that should have been red flags during the campaign but the Media was in his pocket and McCain completely gave him a pass. It’s too late to pursue it now. Now we should focus on the continuing pile up of blatant corruption and incompetence.

So say he does have a valid birth certificate. Congratulations. Now he has to explain why he held it back for three years.
What planet are you living on where the media will suddenly turn on Obama and say "Hey, why'd you hold that back after three years during which none of us in the media cared?"
Think hard now--who's going to demand this explanation from him, the people who've been protecting him and calling people 'Teabaggers'? Go on, make an effort to answer.

I kinda think people are focused on the issues as well. Remember the 2010 elections?
Yeah. I also remember the last time a Democrat lost a midterm election for his party--Bill Clinton was his name, and his party lost a ton of seats in that midterm. But it was great he didn't get re-elected, isn't it?
Next time, instead of being so brave from behind the keyboard, try answering the question, or have an adult do it for you.
I don’t think that’s going to matter to anyone—the spin will be that the evil right wingers have control of the Republican party and were after the poor president for no good reason. This plays right into The Story the MSM have for this situation—Evil Rightwingers, who are racist of course, have been trying to make us think Obama is not a legitimate president...and look, they’re the same bunch in that Teabaggers party—they’re all crazy conservatives! and blah blah blah.
Thanks for giving a reasonable response, unlike some folks who can’t seem to respond to what is a very important question—why are they so afraid to give an honest answer on this? (The easily-agitated folks I’ve asked this question of are not so far off from him after all.)
More dumbas$ questions from an Obot. I never said the media would touch this. The Cipher will have to explain to the PEOPLE why he held it back, and there will be no valid answer. By the way, we can walk and chew bubblegum at the same time, which is why we can tackle this issue and still defeat you libbies on the other issues, as we did in 2010. The more flak we take from you Obots on the birth certificate issue, the more obvious we are over the target. You must be panting in fear right now as the Donald continues to hammer this point home. Insulting to Obot trolls? You betcha.
P.S. Clinton had a good economy to bail him out, your boy wonder has one in the crapper, good luck with that.
