Donald may run...but I don’t think he is doing it to win. He is up to something?

He is challenging 0bama in ways the press won’t, Sarah won’t, Rush won’t, Beck won’t...

He pushing buttons that would normally be political suicide. Why? What’s Donald’s upside? And no, it is not the Presidency....even if he does “run.”

He is playing the role of what they call in bike racing “The Lead Rider” who sacrifices himself by jumping out early and drawing his teammates competitors, and clears the way for his teammate to win the race.

Donald gets bored once in a while. So he has to get to something to spice up things. He always makes sure he picks on somebody like Rosy-and Obama.

Come to think on it now..they were both bullies..or pretended to be bullies, and Donald was right about the obvious of former phat slob on the Spew.

“Donald may run...but I don’t think he is doing it to win. He is up to something?”

He’s always up to something. And Trump is no enemy of liberals. He’s donated to Wiener and Schumer among others. My guess is he is clearing the way for Hillary! If Trump continues on, and makes headway, he could damage BHO enough that Hillary! could win the nomination in 2012.

This has the stench of a Clintonesque tactic.

If Hillary! wins, Trump would be handsomely rewarded. He would be to Hillary! what Jeff Immelt is to BHO.

I'm not convinced he's unelectable. Surely, 20+ years ago he could not get elected, but in today's environment I think he could. Trump says a lot of things that resonate with the common man on the street, beaten down by the last few years of a horrible economy and a faltering democracy. I'll give him one thing, he truly is a patriot and cares about his country. He shoots from the hip, which would probably get him in trouble in a primary, but in this day and age...if someone like Obama could be elected, the old rules are out the window.

Hillary would have been preferable to this guy.
She has less hatred for America than 0bama.

She’s still a dyed in the wool socialist, and would love to see America go communist, but I don’t think she has the visceral HATRED for America that ‘bammers does.

A minute ago: according to Rush and he reflects my views. "This election has to be about Obama it has to be. Someone has to take it to Obama. Even though we may end up with a milquetoast candidate - "we can't take this for another 4 years..."

Obama has blown the old paradigm out the window in this coming election. That guy has got to go.

I'm pretty confident we hold the House and retake the Senate as insurance no matter who gets elected in 2012.

I agree. Why so much cynicism on this thread? Trump is hurting his businesses by slagging Obama. He is serious and I will gladly vote for him.

I am betting some big shots like T Boone Pickens and Aubrey MacClendon are phoning him right about now and pledging support and money. We all know what America hating millionaires can do. With THE DONALD you are about to find out what America loving billionaires can do. Donald sees a pathetic field of Republican candidates and knows he has an opening. F all these lawyer hack politicians that infest DC. We need a businessman like the Donald

Indeed, I think he is tweaking BO, the media, and the culture in general. Someone of some stature (The Donald) is saying out loud what so many of us think. Someone whom the media really cannot mock and make fun of (He has already done it all himself). Interesting to see if he can implant these memes..

And I do think he could beat Obama.

Americans seem to be in the mood for someone competent. They took a flier on Barry and it hasn’t gone well.

As someone else pointed out, the net effect of Trump's words is they cancel out the work the media is doing to marginalize and gag the segment of the public who have legitimate questions about this clown's fitness for the office.

They can't really attack him effectively because when he hits back alot of people listen.

This kind of talk could propel this guy upward in polls.

Trump keeps sawing away at that very long limb of incompetency that Obama represents - that's going to happen. The rest of the politico crowd are being nothing but wimps.

Rush is seeing it.

"This election has to be about Obama it has to be. Someone has to take it to Obama; we can't take this for another 4 years..."

AMEN, which is why, even though I'll support the most conservative candidate in the primary, I'll vote for anyone in the general vs Obama. Either he goes or the country goes, there's no middle ground.

Agree. It's precisely because he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of being elected president, that he can get away with being as frank as he is about Obama.

I've gotta admit that I love watching him flay Obama every day in the media. He's too big a media figure to ignore, so this is all getting wide airplay. I can't help but be tickled by it.

They seem to be afraid of Trump. If anything, he has opened the door to getting down and dirty on the usurper.

You can’t win against Obama unless you are unafraid to take on issues like the birth certificate.

Right off the bat in that video I got a good laugh.

They showed a black man in a door-mans uniform in front of the Trump Towers building, and I thought , “There is the job Obama is qualified for”.

Then I thought, no He isn't qualified for that either.
