If I recall correctly their current governor (the Original ‘hope and change’ guy) was re-elected just last fall on the strength of his success at job creation.
How could this possible be happening in the American Athens? The center of all knowledge in America.

I went to a job fair for a well known supermarket chain.Men and women overqualified hustling for few jobs.It is scary real.Men and women thrown out of 20-30 year careers scrounging for what ever job they can get.
meanwhile, I stood behind a woman at the chckout today, using WIC and food stamps, complaining to her buddy on her I Phone! about the crappy jobs people expect her to take.
I almost dropped my handful of coupons watching her steaks ring up...
