Fredrik Reinfeldt, who leads Sweden's centre-right coalition government, said the JAS 39 Gripen planes cannot be used for attacking ground targets.
The Swedish offer also includes a transport plane and 130 personnel and will be made available for three months, Reinfeldt told lawmakers. The proposal needs approval from Parliament.

I predict there will be no Swedish aces from this military adventure.
Thanks for the fighter support and all; but what do you suppose the pilot is supposed to do if the enemy shoots back and his plane crashes? Does he have enough cash on him to get a taxi?

Next they will send in ground troops without live ammo, LOL ....... wait, don’t we do that?
Then there’s the one about the swede who brought his binoculars to a funeral where they were going to bury a distant relative of his...
To ask the question is to answer it--look at Qatar!
What did Obama promise the Swedes? Or is this possibly part of the Swedish PM's long-range agenda?
I want to know why the British and French don't do most of the fighting for their oil supplies.
SAAB JAS39 Gripens.
They’re looking out for Qaddafi’s top secret weapon, the flying tanks.
