Hahahaha. Mine cooks and cleans and does the laundry. Of course, we have the cute cleaning cleaning girl come in every other Friday, so he has his *employee* along with his gardening worker and his handyman, so he’s content. He also does all the grocery shopping. Life is good for him. Me? I have my Pug to care for.

That’s so relevant to me, as I’ve made a point of noticing how males in particular age in their approach, expression and temperament. Many I’ve observed change that same way.
I noticed it particularly when I had a secretarial service
for over 10 years in a very upscale private resort community frequented by highly successful, very wealthy Wall Street and other big biz type moguls who I knew were sharks and very tough in their business life. I got to see the differences close up .. gradually.
As they aged, they absolutely became noticeably different .. the tiger left their tank for a softer, gentler, more emotionally expressive and caring persona.
Some even became kind of gossipy.
And the wives ... MORE feisty, outspoken and assertive as the years went by .. LOL. The hormones must obviously play a big role there somewhere.
I find it all fascinating.

Maybe, as they say, it's about
thru thick and thin, but not thru lunch .. LOL.
Basically, I think we all need purpose, to know we're contributing something in the world that's worthwhile, to be of use .. mostly daily.. in order to feel whole and comfortable and OK.
Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to strategically deduce the optimum formula for your 'homefront corporation'... ☺☺☺
