Live thread: Wisconsin Supreme Court election - Prosser vs Kloppenburg
http://elections.620wtmj.com/G8801.htm ^ | 4/5/11

Edited on 04/05/2011 8:26:32 PM PDT by Admin Moderator. [history]

This election is important nationally too. If Kloppenburg is elected the Wisconsin mandate by the electorate in 2010 in this state will be negated by the WI Supreme Court and the unions will have won.

I live in a hardcore conservative area and discovered today that my Prosser yardsign was mutilated and thrown into one of my plantings.

Pray for Wisconsin and for Prosser's election!

With 23% reporting, you may be slightly premature, but good luck nonetheless.

I remember waaay back when Barca ran for US Rep and was declared victor around midnight and then at like 2:00 a.m. or later some rural areas reported with huge turnout and threw Mark Newman over the top.

I hope some late reporting rural counties can do the same for Prosser.

Waukesha will hold 70’s if not higher, don’t worry.

Reading the commentary on which areas vote which way, looking at the Dane Co. and Milwaukee Co. returns, and the AP page, it looks like Kloppenberg has it. WI conservatives who supposedly are fed up didn’t turn out in large enough numbers. It looks like there’s only about another 15k votes Prosser can pull from Waukesha Co..

I’ll check back with you folks later. I can’t stand to watch anymore of it for the moment. Even if prosser maintains a small numerical edge, it will be too close for him to hang onto in the crooked recount.

I’m going to be ill.

Waukesha is holding back a like number of precincts.

They seem to be playing the game with Dane.

I’m not a huge Hannity fan but I’ll give him credit for at least making Alan Colmes halfway tolerable. But since leaving H&C, Colmes has become a completely obxnoious dunderhead. I wish Monica Crowley would bring an old fashioned rolling pin onto the BOR set and just let him have it!

Thanks for that. I honestly cannot believe that people can be so swayed on stupid stuff like this, yet I see it everyday. We are becoming a minority overnight. Spoiled idiots will never amount to anything.

Every time I visited my neighbor his Dad would say “make yourself useful” and I would be feeding Cows or Bees or baling hay. I didn’t get paid. It was just the fun of being around friends.

Ronald Reagan was a Democrat before he switched to Republican. Sean might’ve been a Libertarian - who knows, and who cares? I switched from one party to another. People grow up and change their views. This is a non-issue.

That is not correct. There is only one WABC in New York City. Sean was not on the air in NYC in the early 80s or anywhere else for that matter. The Ken Starr report also didn’t come out until the late 90s so even if you typoed and mean early “90s” there is still no way what you said is accurate. Sean did not start at WABC until after he started at Fox News. He also would occassionally be the substitute host for Rush Limbaugh. He also appeared briefly on Rush’s TV show while he was still a little known conservative talk show host in Georgia but Rush knew him and made it a point to make mention of him in the audience and gave him one of his ties.

I think Judge Prosser will pull this one out. Wisconsinites (Republicans, Independents and even some Reagan Dems) are really disgusted with the Unionista thuggery at our Capitol this past month.

If the left thinks that this is a vote AGAINST Walker (as they’ve been couching it), the right is going to turn out in droves and vote as they did last November.

Winning the Governorship, and both houses was HUGE this past fall. I can’t imagine that a single INFORMED person who voted in November is missing today’s vote. Absentee ballots were up BIG TIME this election; I think that bodes well for us that NO ONE wanted to miss today’s vote.

I’m keepin’ the faith, Baby! :)

Waukesha is doing no such thing.

Here is the reality... there are about 7 Bellwether counties in Wisconsin. Iron, Price, Forest, Pierce, Door, Richland and Columbia.

Prosser is losing Columbia and Pierce. He is barely winning Price, Richland and Forest. There is nothing in yet from Door or Iron.

Please Lord Jesus, do not allow evil to win out this night. Please do not allow the union thugs & democRAT goons to win this critical election. Please thwart the democRAT attempts to corrupt & steal this election. Please be with the good conservative patriots of Wisconsin, and especially please allow a victory for truth & righteousness in Wisconsin tonight, with a David Prosser victory.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

I join you in fervent prayer. It was quite beautifully phrased.
James 5:17 - "The fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
