Maybe not so fast. Wonder who will be taking that time slot?

The guy may be right sometimes but he hurts his cause with erratic behavior

Sometimes the chalk board would make me crazy, but I always knew that it required tremendous prep time on Beck’s part. He is an extremely intelligent and capable man.

I’m sure you were not.

It seems that most women accept truth and accountabliliy like oil mixes with water.

Oops, did I say that out loud?

I can’t either anymore. I was a fan but now, his message is tiresome. It’s overload and hard to process all that he gives us. And if he suggests stocking food in the basement for the coming revolution one more time....!!!

I suggest those who are 'tired' of Beck's warnings and such spend a little time reading Ezekiel 33...

“They will put in Karl Rove....”

The way FNC has been drifting left recently, that wouldn’t surprise me at all.

“Big numbers” as you put it translate into ad revenue. sponser’s pay for audience and if it’s there they pay and if it isn’t they don’t. It’s that simple.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
If it was that simple then the Left wouldn’t have bothered to run their successful sponsor boycott of Beck’s show.

The difference is the quality of the ads that run on Beck vs. the rest of the Fox’s shows. Ads for Ford, Tide, Pepsi etc are much more lucrative than those Buy Gold ads. You won’t see any of the former on Beck.

Now it may be more complicated than this but ad revenue was certainly a major factor.

Maybe he is transitioning into a weekly show, similar to a Stossel special?

Beck was fired. He didn't quit.

His ratings are down %40. He is being boycotted by 3 different groups.

Drive by media strikes again. You need to actually read the story to learn he's not out.
But then that darn scroll button is a pain to use for many.

maybe its because i am old, but when I tune into FNC all I see are these 20-something airheads, yapping and yapping and flapping their gums and yammering on and on about trivial crap that only some dumb 20-something could be interested in. human brains do not begin working properly until they are at least 35 years old. but at FNC there they are yapp yapp yapping about inane crap. until Beck came on at 2pm (west coast). then, suddenly, the little kiddy crap that FNC and their little kiddy anchors dish out all day turned to real, complex, adult-brain type of issues and topics that made you want more and more, instead of being talked to like a little twerpy kid about some stupid twerpy kid topic, by stupid twerpy little kid anchors. :)

Nice post! I never considered the difference in prep time for each style of presentation.

If I’m tired of Beck, I see no reason to be admonished about my opinion or be cajoled into reading anything.

His ratings are down from where they once were, yet they are still stronger than anyone else Fox might replace him with. Beck will be the Shelley Long of Fox News.

“the guy may be right sometimes but he hurts his cause with erratic behavior”.

There is some tension in watching Beck “perform” that suggests that he is constantly on the verge of a meltdown.
He needs to find a simpler message and refine it rather than try to portray himself as an authority on everything from George Soros tactics to global destruction.

The average Joe, driving home from work, does NOT want to be frightened on a regular basis in the middle of the day.
Most folks have enough stress in their own lives and would not choose to have the c**p scared out of them with predictions of impending doom.

On his daily radio show, when he and Stu and Pat bantorback and forth accompanied by annoying laughter and private jokes, it reminds me of Imus and Bernard. Only the latter’s exchange is meant to entertain and is written into the script.
