" 0bama’s approval ratings are so low, Kenyans are starting to claim he was born in America."

Yeah but ? what's the Liberals, Democrats, MSM excuse ? are they going to start to claim he was born in Kenya ? or Indonesia ?

" Actually The Donald does have something to lose whether he runs for Prez or not - his credibility. He is really sticking his neck out on the birth issue. If he was just grandstanding he will look like a total douche if/when Obama were to provide slam-dunk definitive proof. Trump does have to maintain popularity for his TV show and other endeavors, as he is media savvy and conscious of his image for reasons not just political. "

Would Donald Trump spend his money and send in a team of investigators and bring this to the public's attention if he didn't have any definitive proof or evidence and if he didn't hold all the cards ?

Good to know that you’re opposed to electing conservatives to Congress.

" If proved true, I’m wondering what the secondary effects will be. I would think there would be a boatload of legal challenges to everything Obama has done: that includes all SCOTUS appointments— and those appointments would have to be recused for anything going to the court related to this. "

The Democrat Party of Hawaii refused to certify Obama in 2008, so Nancy Pelosi certified Obama for them.

You can’t be serious. All he has to do is easily turn this into an invasion of privacy and suddenly everyone on the right that was talking about the birth certificate looks like a psychotic privacy invader.

Frankly, I’m really sick and tired of Obama supporters on here calling me “noobie” or “Alinsky supporter” or other nonsense for suggesting that we focus on electing conservatives. There’s something really messed up when people are sandbagging against electing conservatives on a messageboard that’s all about conservatism.

It’s not Prof Mel who’s opposed to electing conservatives—it’s Papa Alinsky.

You do come across as a Concern Troll. Why not leave eligibility threads alone, since you’ve suggested they’re misguided. You can do the important work of electing conservatives, and leave eligibility issues to those who think they matter to the Constitution.

I don’t know how it worked in Hawaii in the 1950’s in regard to birth announcements, but I do know how it worked in a mid-sized Midwest city in the 1970’s.

One of my jobs as a new reporterette was to call the three local hospitals every day to get a list of births (boy born to Mr. and Mrs. So and So, address, on Tuesday at name of hospital) and also to get a list of admissions to the hospital. I don’t know if this is still done, but that was standard procedure back then.

When my kids were born, I just put a notice in our small weekly newspaper for their scrapbooks. No questions were asked and you didn’t have to show proof you even had a baby.

" The guy is openly using the phrase the ‘greatest scam ever’"

That's why the big cable TV executives should start signing contracts for TV time when this thing is exposed and opens wide up, can you imagine the TV ratings from around the world ? ... the cable TV providers would make a lot of money on this alone.

" I don’t think the risk is worth the reward. "

So you say the founding document of this country, the United States Constitution is not worth fighting for ? what a stupid thing to say.

These Vets thought the United States Constitution was worth fighting for

How about not making stuff up about me and putting words into my mouth?

I DO think these issues are important in terms of the Constitution, but we can investigate quietly. I’d happily donate to a fund to get a real investigation going that stayed quiet until they actually have results.

It’s the LOUDNESS that is the problem. Being quiet about our investigation has little drawback - even if Obama comes up with a birth certificate, there’s no backlash. If we run around screaming “BIRTH CERTIFICATE!!11!!!” with no hard evidence, we do nothing more than add the risk of looking like utter fools and blowing our chance at taking the Senate and the White House in 2012. We don’t have to take that risk to prove issues about Obama’s birth certificate. The “loud” approach is incredibly risky without much benefit, and it’s enough to convince me that the Donald is basically working for Obama.

" His 'authoritative' pronouncement will eliminate Obama's birth place as any issue of consequence for 2012 election. "

Yeah, Yeah, yeah, whatever....

These vets didn't think that the United States Constitution was not worth fighting for.

We should honor those who went before us and died to defend and protect the United States Constitution by keeping alive the thing they fought for.

Thanks. Granny said it all right. Even the moonbats’ claim that she didn’t falls apart on its face. They say first, that it was a mistranslation, but then they point out that the younger relatives rushed to correct, not the translation but granny’s actual words. Consistency is not the hallmark of liberals.

Donald might just peruse Free Republic. Who knows? Maybe he picked up the ball on this after reading much “evidence” presented by some on this site.
