They will pay any price. Look how much money rolled into Klepto’s campaign the last couple weeks - millions.

The unions will pay any price to not have this precedent of loss set. If they win, they’ll make up the cost of the recount in rat largesse. It’s mere pennies by comparison - just the cost of doing bidness. Heck, it’s basically already paid for in advance. Look how much the “Stimuloss” and obathturd’s deathcare put in their pockets - billions. Billions to partially recycle back to the rats in ‘12.

Why such an error? What if they never caught it?

I don't think it was an error. I just wasn't reported to the AP.

No, it would still be in the 50-50 range, but more like 50.60 to 49.40.

I think the automatic recount goes away if the difference is 1/2 of 1% or less, which it no longer is. I’m not sure about that, though, although I fairly sure I read that on the election night thread from someone who was giving a running analysis based on his/her knowledge of WI.

Here's the head Unionista celebrating Klopenkrisp's victory:

One day after Wisconsin voters turned out in force for a judicial election widely seen as a referendum on Gov. Scott Walker’s law ending collective bargaining for public workers, the president of the AFL-CIO declared, “the labor movement has a rich and vibrant future.” In a speech called “The Future of Unions," Richard Trumka insisted that term is no oxymoron.

“The over-reaching of anti-worker politicians today may have given us the game-changer we need,” he said at Wayne State University in Detroit. “It may have provided the sparks for the next surge of labor.”

Re-write!

So, since Kloppencommie LOST - then by his own logic, we can conclude that unions HAVE NO future, and the over-reaching by the smelly hippies in Wisconsin was the "game changer" that will seal their fate.

Hey, it's HIS argument!

Let's make sure we keep our fact straight. These votes were never "lost" No votes were "found". The votes were properly counted by the local precincts and reported to the county elections office. The county elections office duly recorded the results. The only thing that happened is that the results for this city were inadvertently omitted from a spreadsheet sent to the AP, so the AP was reporting incorrect totals.

Confusing American Pravda with random vote totals should be standard procedure for the GOP.

Statement from JoAnne Kloppenburg campaign manager Melissa Mulliken:

"Wisconsin voters as well as the Kloppenburg for Justice Campaign deserve a full explanation of how and why these 14,000 votes from an entire City were missed... yammer, sputter, outrage, innuendo..."

No votes were "missed." They were correctly tallied and recorded. The city total simply wasn't reported in a timely way to the AP, which is, after all, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the DNC.

Funny - the radio news on election day, when the socialist was leading Prosser, claimed this victory was a outright condemnation of Governor Walker.

I'll be waiting for the retractions from the press. But I won't be holding my breath.

I will, however, be reminding them on their websites. Every day, if necessary.

This woman should lose her job over this. We can’t have any doubts in the minds of the citizenry that the GOP was responsible for any shenanigans.

The best way to do that is to fire her for incompetence.

You're a nutcase if you think that it would help the GOP to remove an elected official from office by fiat! In fact, I would even stand up against the GOP for such an abuse.

Are you sure?

Anyone can demand a recount, whenever, regardless of the "official" margin?

I'm not saying you're wrong...I'm just thinking there must be a threshold beyond which a recount will not be granted.

Ok, I admit I was very pessimistic on the forum on Tuesday because I knew what thugs the democrats / unions were.

I am giddy tonight. I went to the White Sox home opener and the Sox won, I come home and find out that Prosser won and the dems are crying like babies. I don't know a better day other than the defeat of Obama in 2012.

There's nothing wrong with the system, just the dimwit republican broad who was responsible for the loss of those ballots........

What ballots were lost?

She needs to be relieved of duty........or fired.

Impeachment proceedings for a county clerk?!?

Stop and think about what you're suggesting...that the integrity of our election-based democratic republican system should be compromised because someone is suspected of potential compromise of the integrity of our election-driven democratic republican system.

I don't at all blame Klopp for any of this fiasco. She is a commie, but a relatively innocent one in this instance. The thugs have hijacked her campaign for their own purposes. Her loss wasn't primarily a repudiation of her, but of the despicable thuggery of the Left.

I hope the grownups in WI are preparing for the inevitable violent temper tantrum from the brats. And they should be preparing to deal with it appropriately, unlike the last several months' debacles. It's going to take outside law enforcement to control the criminal thugs.

“Words cannot even approach the total awesomeness of this.”

Well said. This scenario is SO perfect! They were already gloating about their victory and they already “produced” the ballots they thought they needed. Now, there’s no way they can successfully challenge these numbers, because it was just a reporting error-even the local Democrat agreed.

I gotta admit, as a Minnesotan, I’m very envious of the good fortune you all in Wisconsin have had lately. First the November elections, then the Packers, now this! Can you send some of that luck our way?

Latest Wisconsin Election Changes by County are at

http://elections.wispolitics.com/

however, to save everybody work i have added up all the counties to the old total.

Prosser leads by 7,241 (751,288 to 744,041) at the moment.

I got this figure by adding AP’s Wednesday total

Prosser 739,886 Kloppenberg 740,090

from here
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/files/elections/2011/by_county/WI_Supreme_Court_0405.html?SITE=AP&SECTION=POLITICS

Then I added the recanvassing results at wispolitics for the following 13 counties
Prosser/Kloppenburg
Brown 0/-1
Clark -8/-36
Douglas 0/0
Door +17/+29
Eau Claire +199/+228
Grant -113/0
Iowa +77/+107
Portage +10/+101
Rusk -31/0
Shawano -1/+63
Vernon 0/+24
Waukesha +11,008/+3,436
Winnebago +244/0 (partial canvass)

Total 10:13PM Central
Prosser 751,288 Kloppenberg 744,041

Prosser’s lead of 7,247 is 0.485% of the new total of 1,495,329 votes. Thus free recount for Kloppenberg (a recount would cost $1m+ of filthy union luchre).

Prosser would need a lead of at least 7,477 to cost the unionistas $1m.

I doubt this hoped-for 7,477 margin will happen. Dane county and city of milwaukee are sure to add to kloppenbergs total.

Still 7,247 will be tough to beat!

Here you go:

Accusations of voter fraud abound in Wisconsin
http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/watercooler/2011/apr/7/accusations-voter-fraud-abound-wisconsin/

On an estimated more than 10,000 ballots in Dane County, Wisconsin, where the state capital Madison is, voters selected only a pick in the Supreme Court race, while leaving even the hotly contested mayoral and county executive choices blank. That raises red flags for election experts like Scott St. Clair of the Freedom Foundation, a conservative think tank.
