Wisconsin (Supreme) court race won't be certified without vote probe
Reuters - Chicago ^ | 4.8.11 | James B. Kelleher

Posted on 04/08/2011 12:37:45 PM PDT by rface

The agency overseeing Wisconsin elections will not certify results of Tuesday's state Supreme Court race until it concludes a probe into how a county clerk misplaced and then found some 14,000 votes that upended the contest.

[ snip ]

"It's not that we necessarily expect to find anything criminal. But we want to make sure the public has confidence in the results,"

Unofficial returns in the statewide race had given the challenger, JoAnne Kloppenburg, a narrow 204 vote statewide lead over David Prosser, a former Republican legislator.

[ snip ]

Friday, Kloppenburg said her campaign had filed an open records requests "for all relevant documentation related to the reporting of election results in Waukesha County, as well as to the discovery and reporting of the errors announced by the County."

Apparently the liberals need time to come up with 8,000 “misplaced” ballots—all voting for Kloppenberg.

What dolts. There was no discrepancy. There was simply a math error/oversight on the unofficial numbers that the AP ran with. The final canvass caught the error and reported it to the state correctly.

Democrats NEVER lose an election.

It is either STOLEN (2000), the public is too STUPID to know better (2004) or the masses were BRAINWASHED by FoxNews/Talk Radio (2010).

This is a universal belief in La La Lefty land.

And that will be the result that cannot be disputed, then they will have to shut up.

Even still, the SEIU is organizing “protests” as we speak, to “protest” (riot) that they lost their Union gravy regardless of how legitimate the election was.

I am glad Repubs have a learning curve.

Dems have held the last ballot box and then turned in the number of votes they needed. It worked for Johnson in the 1960’s and elsewhere since then (Washington state, Wisconsin, etc.).

Repubs finally figured it out and kept a big collection of ballots themselves.

Turnabout if fair play.

Waukesha County submits unofficial numbers and then a second look shows that the total vote count in the city of Brookfield is 0 (zero). Sure, that makes sense. Election person notices that the votes (14K+) were tabulated but not included in the county totals. Says, "oops", and adds the Brookfield numbers to the total. Rats say, "how dare you screw with our plans to screw you?" Read 'em and weep, rats, YOU LOSE!!!!!!!

They are freaking over at Kos with supposed experts saying that Access always saves, you don’t actually hit “save” so she’s lying. They miss that she was importing Excel spreadsheets into Access. It’s easy to screw that up and not have the data added to the database.

Of course the big question is why in this day and age is a manual process using Access and Excel being used to count votes?

That is a lie, there weren’t any misplaced votes, there weren’t any found votes.

That sounds like what the dimocRat are saying.

I tend to take this at face value. Ballots were originally not counted, the discrepancy was found, and the count was corrected.

The thing that’s cracking me up is, when their side looked like they had won everyone here was freaking out and whining about a stolen election, bitching about ballot stuffing and trotting out the same retarded canards about dead folks voting- and as soon as it wen the other way posts worded almost exactly the same way appeared over on that other site as well as the predictable pissing and moaning about Diebold

Good grief, this country is a nation of piteous whiners; at least Nixon had some class when the Daley machine stole Illinois.
If you can’t steal as many votes, rig as many machines, bring as many dead back to life and ‘find’ as many ballot boxes as the other side, you’re as useless as a short NBA player or a 120LB defensive lineman in the NFL.

There were two stories about the crook named Lyndon Johnson that the press never covered but I always found somewhat “curious”. First, just how did he become a multimillionaire on a maximum Senate yearly salary of $ 35,000? Second, historian Robert Caro related the news of Lyndon’s first stolen Senate election where he narrowly “defeated” Governor Coke Stevenson in the primary; Stevenson was up 74 votes or so and the county clerk “found” a ballot box with 83 paper ballots that had been uncounted and gee whiz, all 83 were marked for Lyndon Johnson. “Landslide Lyndon” the politicos called him after that; “Crooked as a Texas rattler” was my name for LBJ.

I should have said that these votes were not included in the final count.

The point I was trying make was that saying the republican won by anything other than a straight up honest election plays into the dim’s hand. Implying they lost by other means just gives them ammunition to continue working to steal this and/or future elections.

I fully expect a liberal judge to declare that the votes don’t count because they weren’t reported in the initial count. There may not be a legal basis for the decision, but when has that ever stopped them?
