You couldn’t trust Trump, so your vote would be for Obummer? Or, you’d stay home & same thing, Obummer wins?

Right now Trump is in 2nd place behind Mitt, but it is VERY early in the game. He’s been at this, what, two weeks & he’s that close to Mitt already???

Excellent post, and as far as I remember a very accurate
representation of the BOR interview(s). Trump resonates with patriotic Americans, in his statements. But considering his past left-leaning political contributions/ inclinations, I DO have a question. Just exactly, where is he positioneed on gun control? Until I get a answer on that, I really must withold judgement, and consider him a New York Yankee.

“No, Palin.”

Good for you. I was 100% behind Palin until she caved on the BC issue. Saying it was not important was in my humble opinion a big mistake and the kind of weak cop out I didn’t think she would go for. Same for Bachmann and West.

Trump has showed them how it should be done, but he should not have needed to. They should have showed the fight Trump has as a matter of course.

Trump by his no retreat attitude no surrender towards the left and their mainstream media allies is showing what has been missing from the Republicans for far too long.

For that he deserves some credit.

I think his victory speech where he says,”Barack Obama, You’re Fired !” Would be a hoot, but Trump’s policies are weak and misguided.

Tariffs and protectionist trade policies are a poor solution compared to simply abolishing the Corporate income tax and setting a flat 10% rate for all individuals.

Deciding on deportation on a “case by case” basis is wrongheaded. We either live by the rule of law or we don’t. That means all illegals need to be deported without exception. Militarizing the border is a good idea, but the minefields that would be required are probably not feasible over 2700 miles.

Opening up our own lands to oil and gas production would do far more than trying to dictate to OPEC what prices should be. Increase supply that is not under OPEC control, and prices will take care of themselves.

In short, Trump does not sound like he has thought about any of these issues as much as he should have before getting in the race.

Trump would get my vote in a heartbeat. At least he gives a dam about the US Constitution unlike the rest of the candidates that are too Chiken $hit to bring up where Obama was born. What you want to vote in another politician that has no business experience to spend us into bankruptcy?

Trump’s a liberal but he’s not a liberal traitor. I’d say that’s definitely an improvement. I also think he wouldn’t back down to the Muslims or anyone else threatening America. He’ll also take it to Obama during a debate and shove it down his throat. Domestically, though, he probably would mirror the Clintons.

Ron Paul thinks just like the Founding Fathers. I dare you to compare what Ron believes in the Roll of Government vs. The Founding Fathers. You will find out they are one in the same.

You just don’t like Ron Paul when it comes to foreign policy (that is where most Republicans disagree with him), but most conservatives on his domestic are 100% with him.

Regarding the Foreign policy we have Obama starting a war in Libya while he is on vacation with his family in Brazil. Now we are being told our Troops are probably never going to leave Iraq. Oh and if OBL is no longer in Afghanistan (which all intelligence communities agree to that (Pakistan/Iran)) then what the hell are we doing there and when are we leaving? Finally, how come US tax payer has the foot the bill in these endless wars? I understand why we initially went in, but it now seems to have no end to it. What’s more amazing to me is that we have to fund this why the other countries do not have to pay for squat.

You are entitled to your opinion. Its just one that I disagree with. He isn’t electable as a presidential candidate. He’s doing fine where he is - in Congress.

" why anybody in their RIGHT Conservative mind would consider this blowhard Leftist "

That's not much considering the last McCain candidate we had.

As if we really had a choice in the last election.

Trump is far from my favorite candidates. However, compared to Obama-McCain-Hillary he looks good. And he does not hate America. He makes some good points and he is not afraid to tackle subjects the media is pressuring us to avoid. He is not a sniveling coward like so many other poleticians.
